200 г Сливочного масла
200 г Овсяных хлопьев
170 г Сахара
150 г Муки
5 г разрыхлителя
50 г изюма
Хорошо взбиваем масло с сахаром, до светлого состояния. Добавляем яйцо и все сыпучие ингредиенты. Перемешиваем до однородности и аккуратно вводим изюм. Выкладываем небольшие ширили ложкой на противень и немного приплющиваем их. Обязательно оставляем достаточно места между ними, тк при выпечке они увеличатся в диаметре. Выпеваем в разогретой до 180 градусов духовке 15-20 мин в зависимости от размера печенья. .

KFC Goldspice Chicken (salted egg flavour) - S$8.55 for meal
Felt a bit lacking in the salted egg flavour, though surprisingly sweet and spicy. Essentially a powdered version of KFC crispy. Mmmmm I'm thinking, smoked ocean trout (because I have some I need to use up) and maybe fresh asparagus (yep have some of that too) and uhhh? what else? It'll need a nice sauce, that includes the addition of essential oil of course (I'm thinking Lemon?) to bring it altogether 🤔 and some nice fresh herbs to serve? What do you all think? Friday night!!!! Takeaway night- or homemade takeaway night!
Try these falafels! Falafel Friday! And if your tied from a big week these are perfect. 1) chuck it all in a food processor 2) get the kids to help you make the balls. It’s like play dough. Messy but taste delicious. Perfect for all ages
3 cans chickpeas
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 1/2 cup parsley
2 tbsp cumin
2 tbsp ground coriander
2 tbsp flour
1 cup breadcrumbs
1cm Rice bran oil
1 cup natural yogurt
1/4 cucumber, finely grated
1/2 lemon juice
Combine chickpeas, garlic, parsley, spices, egg, flour and breadcrumbs in a food processor. Mix until well combined
Make into flat balls the size of a 50c piece
Heat oil in fry pan and shallow fry. 5mins each side until golden and with hard crust.
Combine yoghurt, cucumber and garlic
Serve falafels with yogurt and bread. We make wraps along with just dipping the falafels and bread into the dipping sauce.
Serve with Tabouli and pickled turnips!
Tabouli - I make ours with couscous, parsley, tomato and lemon juice.

While the fillings are a bit disappointing on their own, the pie is blessed by the dairy gods with its buttery crust and blend of 3 cheese (parmesan, mozzarella, cheddar) to create an overall delicious pie.
Salad - with set, S$2 with Ayataka green tea
Pretty normal, with a sesame oil-soy sauce vinaigrette. Slightly citrusy and wasabi ish.

30 minute Korean Rice Cake Soup. I had a small container of frozen chicken broth(you can use store bought chicken or beef broth) in the freezer. I added 2 more containers full of water into a large pot. Bring to boil. Add desired amount of frozen meat dumplings (I used my homemade ones but you can use store bought) and rice cake slices (I keep this in the freezer too. No need to defrost). Cover and bring back to boil. Add soup soy sauce and taste. Add 1/2 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp black pepper. Taste and add more if desired. Add 2 beaten eggs and 2 green onions sliced. Gently stir and cook till all dumplings rise to the top. Ladle to a bowl and garnish with toasted dried seaweed if desired.
