20 years ago I went on a whale watching trip in the Pacific Ocean in Ecuador. The waves were really high, it was raining and we barely so any whales. Since then I promised myself that one day I will go and see whales in the ocean! 🐳
In my trip now to Argentina I came in time for the whale watching season so I can finally see and photograph the whales in the ocean as I always wanted! 📸
Just thinking about the magical time I had experiencing the Ningaloo reef and meeting it's inhabitants thanks to @kingsreef I know the thank you is late but these guys were literally the Kings of the Reef for sure! We saw what they called the big three; which means we got to swim with Whalesharks, Whales and Manta Rays, plus a shark but thankfully he was just checking out the tourists.🦈
It was THE BEST DAY, with the BEST CREW, the BEST FOOD, the BEST WEATHER and the BEST PHOTOS! I can't thank everyone enough from Kings for all they did that day! From their dedication to finding me a whale to swim with because they are my favourite to letting me wear the Ariel leggings, because Lord knows how much I love Ariel and want to be a mermaid! Also for taking care of me when I got sea sick, giving me extra food to go home with 😂 and for letting us stay out as long as we did to maximise our opportunities to see the wonderous Reef and all the marine life in it! Seriously I know you guys had a long day that day but I truly appreciated your effort to go the extra mile! It was the experience of a life time for sure for me, and coming face to face with the mother and calf whales was just something else altogether. I don't have the words for how happy you guys made me that day and the joy I still get from thinking/looking at photos from the day!
Kings are 10/10! 5 🌟 and a whale of fun!
Warning: This fairy tale is not for children or for the faint hearted😉 ...Then I saw some small wooden figures of small children, dancing to a beautiful soft melody. The dancing was as delicate as the movements of Chinese Tai Chi. But as time passed, the melody was supported by a slow underbeat, which slowly but surely increased its pace. First the music was joyous and upbeat and the young dancers started to twirl around eachother and around their axes. Then the music sped up even more and it began to sound frantic and the dancers started yelling and heaved their arms up into the sky. “Beware, Beware”, they shouted at first agitated then feverishly as if they couldn’t stop dancing and then I noticed they all wore minute red shoes because some of them spinned so hard around their center that they lost the shoes and fell down, finally ending that horror dance, but the red shoes… the red shoes kept dancing!!! Then fiery sparks started to fly around and the wooden figures on the floor started to catch fire and were soon ablaze. I quickly put my hand on the lid of the box and hastily closed it...

Yes I know🙄 The Efteling is a theme park. But I'm gonna treat it as the 8th continent. Meaning I'm gonna travel through like I do on any other continent like Europe or Africa. I'm gonna visit countries, use means of transport and blog about interesting buildings or tribes or people or animals or nature or....... well there is an important difference too. It is a phantasy continent inhabited by people, tribes and animals from famous fairy tales, myths, legends and sagas. But hey... so what?! 🤔That should make it even more adventurous 😍 Follow me starting today on my path through magic forests, through fairy castles and on enchanted vehicles... Let the Magic in your heart😀

At the end of the Earth.
We were in a hurry to Seals Beach. I my mind I painted myself a bright picture, that will see the majestic #whales , lots of fur seals on the black #rocks . But alas, besides the wild #ocean , ducks drifting on the #waves , and pairs of tails (I still amuse myself with the hope that these were the whales' tails) nothing seemed to us.

The wild orca’s dorsal fin never wavers, only in captivity does it start to cave in order to fit with its new environment. This could be a metaphor for our mindsets which often tell us we are captive when we were born to be so wild and free. We just need a different perspective you see. So never cave to feelings of the moment or give in to the pressures around you—stand tall, keep roaming beyond the shallows and into the deep of resiliency and fortitude. Let them see your unwavering dorsal for miles, all eyes on that beautiful perpendicular on the horizon.....going to places they’ll never know. ___|__ 🙌🏽 __|___ (photo unknown) #DignityOfMind#whitneylanderson#orcas
