McWay Falls - the most recognizable and photographed in Big Sur. What makes it special? It is one of the few tidefalls in North America that flows directly into the ocean. And yes, water is really that blue.
After a cross country drive in four days and a flurry of home and apartment viewing, @turnerj456 and I have found our next home in Oceanside, CA. Thank you to everyone who has made this trip doable and even fun so far, especially @itsheathersturn and @mckirdytrained , @avfancy and @jay_p_clancy for ensuring we had comfortable places to rest and @realtor_loves_wheels for working hard to find viable home rentals. We had wanted to rent a house, but due to my commute and our fur kids, options were very limited and we ended up choosing a Townhome in a community that will be safe for our biking and running. Looking forward to getting back on the Left Coast!
Pictured are a few trip highlights - my packing cubes that have made the frequent packing and unpacking WAY easier, Princess Pillow of Clancy-ville and her indiscriminate bladder, the NAU pool in Flagstaff where I gasped for air during my backstroke, a California style lizard who was defending his territory and a couple pictures of baby Ryn, who happens to think I'm really cool #thankyouverymuch#navylife#westcoastisthebestcoast
Hi guys , engagement season is here ! If you get engaged this season and plan on a 6-8 month engagement, don’t forget to book your key vendors ASAP.
Venue, catering, photographer and florist will all book up very quickly after Christmas. Nothing makes me more sad than having to tell someone “no” because I’m already booked :( Ok I lied, there’s plenty of things that make me more sad, but it IS kinda poopy.
