When you shoot mountains with a wide angle lens they become small in size. For this image I blended different focal lengths (foreground at 15mm and the mountains at 24mm)to avoid this. I took another shot for the Milky-way which was blended with a 3rd shot for the foreground.

Over a week ago I had posted a photo from a storm I watched roll in that was completely jaw dropping. Here is a quick time-lapse of the images I had captured that night. Enjoy!

So yesterday was #worldphotographyday and I was out running around doing photo-y things, so I'll throw my hat in the ring this morning. Thank you all for your love and support of photography. It is the craft that sustains me, brings me the most joy, and is the thing I love sharing with you all every chance I get.
I was able to catch a beautiful sunset at a place I really need to visit more often. Such a unique landscape and so peaceful.
