The catch and throw motion not only involves and develops strong hand eye coordination skills it also increases control, power & strength from the muscles and joints in the back, shoulders and arms.
Adding pointer pose (extending the opposite leg to the extended arm) helps balance the muscles in the left and right side of body, activates core muscles to support the spine & pelvis and develops great mind body awareness. .
The added stability ball 🔵 at the lumber spine aids awareness to maintain a neutral alignment in this exercise, keeping the core muscles activated throughout. If the ball fell it would show that neutral alignment was no longer achieved

Transitional periods, such as summer to fall, may knock our lives off kilter a little more than we care to acknowledge. Something we don’t realize is that finding balance is a lifetime project. It is ongoing. It is not a finite goal at the end of which you will have a peaceful, calm and meaningful life. Balance is a life long process. Treasure those moments. Fall down, get up, and keep moving forward. ❤️
