I believe that we are so busy, we don't stop, get quiet and listen to our bodies. I had lots of signs that inflammation was building up in my body, but the signs flitted past my mind so quickly, had I stopped, gotten quiet, and listened, I may not hove gone over the tipping point with autoimmune disease.
I have a blog on my website called 20 signs you are not as healthy as you think. cherylmhealthmuse dot com. Take a moment to read it. It might convince you to lower your toxic load BEFORE you get sick and tired of being sick and tired.
Signs I missed-
all frageence started to bother me, and if it was a lot, I couldn't breathe.
Mascare started bothering me, even hypoallergenic. Finally found one that didn't that coats my eyelashes
Deoderants started making me either rach or blister, finally found a clay made by a woman with MS who started making it for herself.
Woke up one morning with my lips, tongue, and eyes swollen almost shut, Ended up it was fabric softener. It was also making my skin itchy as heck.
Read my article. You don't want to cross over into autoimmune disease. Although lowing my toxic load did eliminate my pain (with the help of my Functional MD) I will always have autoimmune disease, and I can get around a toxin or eat something that my body doesn't like and gain 7 pounds over night, my face gets all puff, and its uncomfortable. Catch it now. Before you get where I finally stopped and listened.
Your body is very smart. Stop, go inside and listen to it. And then pay attention to what it tells you.
I had been feeling lousy for a long time. I just didn't listen. Don't be like me.

Weekend adventures! Beach 🏖 fun + running in the rain ☔️ and yup, found myself a good workout buddy that doesn’t mind getting a bit wet!! haha One of my favourite most invigorating activities is running 🏃♀️ and in nature and in the rain 🌧 makes it even more enlivening! A dip in the ocean after a hard sweaty run is also on the top of my list, had only I had my swimmers!! It’s moments like these that make life so amazing for me. To me, it’s called LIVING! Simply finding joy in every day moments. Not taking life or yourself to seriously! What’s life about if you can’t find pleasure, peace and prosperity in everyday living. It’s a blessing to be alive and that’s one thing I do take seriously and never for granted. Each day is truly a gift, and one I am very grateful for! Here is to an already AMAZING 😉 week!!! #livingitup#happygirl#beachgirl#divinefeminine#fitgirl#fitness#runningintherain#naturecalls#bliss#entrepreneur#mentalhealth#fitnessgirl#wellness#wellbeing#feelingsohappy#divinelyguided#happy

Every day I am inspired by people who dare to live and speak their truth 🙏
They are the hero's of their own lives, who manifest dreams by courageously exploring both their passions and fears, then live according to the self-knowledge gained. ❤️
As 2019 approaches I have started setting my intentions for how to live my truth. My reality and probably my sanity depends on this ....😉
What intentions would you like to set for 2019?
Isn’t nature amazing !! Blueberries are like candy to me. I could eat an entire Punnet in one sitting.
Did you know blueberries contain antioxidants, which work to neutralize free radicals linked to the development of cancer, cardiovascular disease, and other age-related conditions. These little powerhouses provide tasty ways of staying healthy.
So this festive season when you are putting out a grazing platter be sure to add a handful of blueberries. #blueberries#naturescandy
I was alerted the other week to the profound psychological effects of strength training, clinically proven and being used as a treatment method by psychologists around the world.
It’s makes me wonder - is exercise the magic bullet we’re all looking for?
No other ‘thing’ has been proven more effective for human beings and their physical and emotional health. Nothing. Not even close.
The more I research, coach and learn, the more and more I feel exercise is fast becoming the number one factor in health, longevity and disease prevention.
The holidays can be an overwhelming time but that doesn’t mean that your wellness has to suffer!🎄Schedule time @thesandspa this week for a massage, nail service, facial & M O R E ! ! ! #SelfCareStartsHere#photo @goldsheepclothing

My little man has been sick over the weekend so Mama is staying home with him today so he can get some much needed rest. It happens to the best of us during the Christmas season doesn't it?! While he has a morning nap I thought it was time I play around with some nutritious cooking.
I have really been liking Hyssop lately. I add a drop to my Orange Blossom Moisturizer in the morning. I’ve noticed my skin feels less oily and it just sort of gives a “je ne sais quoi” that I really like. And when I get one of those feelings then I know it’s a good idea to keep doing what I am doing.🥰
Hyssop is noted as being one of the strongest virus 🦠inhibiting essential oils because it contains nearly every type of chemical compound found in essential oils. What’s super awesome is that even with all these powerful constituents, it is still mild and gentle. 🙌🏻
The uses of Hyssop are vast and varied:
📌Relives stress and body aches
📌Promotes cellular regeneration, which minimizes the affects of aging
📌Helps to clear respiratory tracts
📌Promotes normal menstruation
📌Aids in loss of appetite, gas & digestive concerns
📌Soothes joint inflammation
🚨Safety: Not for use in children under 5 or those with epilepsy
I had originally bought Hyssop when Becker scanned for it after he hurt his face last spring. Once he healed I kinda forgot about it until recently. I decided to start using it daily in the mornings and haven’t looked back.

What did the lumberjack say to the water? “Get your sh*t together.” And then it manifested into a live online course.
Come be weird with me in January 👽🖖🏽 Because setting intentions in your water is just the surface for how powerful you are in creating your health & your reality.
Why? Water molecules are a recorder of memory & form into either perfectly symmetrical shapes or asymmetrical shapes based on if your brain waves & sound waves are positive or negative. And those shapes affect how you create your cells. Because your body is 70% water, so this is like a real thing to help you get your sh*t together.
The course goes live the 2nd week of January. Sign up at the link in my profile to purchase the course hours before it hits the public on December 23rd! Spots are limited, so let the FOMO ensue....though I’ll probably still let you in 💁🏼♀️ #empath

You see tomatoes 🍅 but what do we see?? .
‼️ L Y C O P E N E ‼️
Lycopene is a plant nutrient with antioxidant properties. It's the pigment that gives red and pink fruits, such as tomatoes, watermelons and pink grapefruit, their characteristic color. 🍅🍒🍉🍎 Lycopene has been linked to health benefits ranging from heart health to protection against sunburns and certain types of cancers. The only catch is.... the absorption of lycopene is vastly improved with the cooking of such foods, alongside a fat (aka oil) in consumption. .
This means 👉 cooked tomatoes drizzled in olive oil is better than raw tomatoes when it comes to the absorption of lycopene.
Also available in 💊 form: @ateronon a lycopene supplement for cardiovascular and prostate health 💗📈

You are not broken, you are in the process of a breakthrough. “That’s it, I’m broken!” A former student said this to me last week.
This person has survived more adversity and pain than the average student. I had been clued in to some of the details throughout the last few months, and checked in as I hadn’t seen them in awhile.
Turns out, the struggle continued, but this student continued to do their work, handle their business, and always presented with poise. Incredibly professional, this student kept it together (listing off the million of tasks and responsibilities still left to be addressed) until their cell phone smashed on the ground.
This wasn’t the average screen crack. This was the “fade to black” kind of smashed.
That’s what it took for them to speak the words that they had been keeping inside “I’m broken!” After a few minutes of de-escalating the phone crisis (with a gentle reminder that this is why phone insurance and back-ups exist) I prompted the student to tell me why they feel “they” are broken. After all, phones are replaceable.
The response brought tears to my eyes. “The only memories I have are painful. My day to day is filled with dealing with someone else’s pain. I go to bed in pain and wake up fearing what will get worse tomorrow.” This is the point where Counselor-Mallory starts to organize the strategies and feedback to offer when it would be appropriate.
But then they looked up at me and said “but I remember when you said that often when one is experiencing pain and breakdowns, they are nearing a breakthrough. So to keep going, I keep waiting for my breakthrough.” I wasn’t sure what to say (yes, me.) So I smiled, and said— “get the phone fixed, and prepare for your breakthrough. It is coming.” So, friends, change often follows a period of chaos. Pain will happen, so will grief. Yet we get to feel the relief and the joy that accompanies moving through difficult times.
So I hope that you welcome in your next breakthrough. If you want some support bringing it to light, or even understanding what you want it to be—-reach out to me. I’d love to help.
Happy Sunday and hope your weekend was just what you needed. We a very fun & busy & social weekend...and now I’m 😴
I’ve been working, eating, and watching TV (often all at the same time 🙃) next to the Christmas tree in the living room almost every day this week. Something about the twinkly lights and nice evergreen smell that brings me a lot of calm.
As we start off a new week, which is the last work week before the holiday for many, I’m wishing you some calm. This can be a very merry, but very hectic/sad/stressful time of year, and we all need some down time, right?
I want to know... how are you going to find calm this week? OR what was the highlight of your weekend?! 👇
To celebrate Christmas at Capsule Pharmacy we have asked our wonderful staff to pick out their favourite gifts for the season. Lucinda is seen here loving the G&T and Prosecco Pong sets. Lucinda says “This is the ultimate Christmas party hit” #capsulepharmacy#christmas#gifting
Why use bands?
Banded deadlifts are a variation that aid in building the top of your lift. If you are like most, deadlift failure means not being able to budge the weight off the ground. If you’re weird like me, failure more often than not comes at lock out. Adding bands create more resistance as you progress through the lift. 495lbs off the floor could be closer to 600lbs at lockout!
In contrast, deficits (deadlifts performed standing on plates as shown) are a good variation to train if you struggle to move the weight off the ground.
If you’re struggling to progress while deadlifting, there are probably specific reasons and specific ways that you can train to bust through those plateaus!🕺🏼 @visualsbykev.
Color Vibe! 👯 Color vibe is such a great way to get people outside exercising! Cardio training helps increase your heart and lung strength, lose weight, increase metabolism and improve mood. The only downside might be that you have to throw away your clothes afterward!😂 20-30 minutes 4-5 days per week is recommended.
