Who likes theatre that has women in the cast? How about an all-women cast? We’re thrilled to announce that Isadora Lao will be joining Modern Girls in Bed. She’s playing millennial BFF Petra.
Isadora is a multi-talented recent graduate of the Victoria University Theatre Programme. From directing, design to performing is there anything this modern girl can’t do? She most recently worked on Christmas Detention Centre at BATS and Camembert in the 2018 NZ Fringe. Izzie has just returned from a tour of Europe with her parents and a bus full of people aged 50+ (she had a great time), and we’re super excited to have her with us on stage as Petra. #nztheatre#womenintheatre#moderngirls#moderngirlsinbed#wellington#wellingtonarts#wellingtonevents
A big thanks to our lovely attendees who came to the NZ Chocolate Exhibition this weekend at Te Papa 😍🍫 But also a big thanks to all exhibitors who spread the passion of craft chocolate around them during those two days. 💚💜💛👌
The 2018 Grand Exhibition is over but not the festival! We will see you again this week at our Pop-up and different events around town. 🤗🕺💃
Honoured to have been asked by one of my oldest friends to design her wedding invitations ahhhhh I love a good love story and this one’s a classic straight out of Boston night club Wellington 😂😝 ..looking forward to seeing these two get hitched under the canopies of Whakarewarewa Forest at the end of this year ❤️
💜I was commissioned to design a poster for a fundraiser for PND Wellington 💜
I have always been open about my struggles with postnatal depression for the first year of my daughters life. As women we are taught that motherhood and an overwhelming sense of love and bonding will come naturally and as soon as you look into your babies eyes for the first time. I didn’t experience this. I felt extreme fear and anxiety that this tiny little person depended on me for everything. I was so terrified of fucking up and felt such guilt for not having that instant bond. I struggled a lot with loosing my independence and freedom...
But with the amazing support from PND Wellington I was able to overcome my fears and anxiety and bond with my little pumpkin. I love being mother and I love my daughter and can’t imagine life without her.
So designing this poster was the least I could do. Come along to the event and you will see me there 🤙🏻💜 #graphicdesign#poster#posterdesign#zoeemily#zoeemilytattoos#rose#tattoos#pnd#fundraiser#mentalhealth#wellington#wellingtonevents#sanfranwellington#tattoo#tattooartist

My number one motive for my work has to be love. The moment my motive switches from love to being about recognition, wealth, influence or power my work just becomes a job. I don’t want just a job I want this to be my life’s work. -
Do you work for recognition, wealth, influence or power or do you work simply to love?
New Blog post “It’s OK to not be OK” -
“If I have to wake up to another gram post telling me to be positive and to look for happiness in every day I may scream. Yes I am a life coach so I am a fan of positivity & choosing happiness, but I am also an even bigger fan of being real, authentic & embracing life as it really is” -
If you want to read on my blog link is in my bio. 🖤
There is something bigger waiting for you. You have some incredible work to do. That work is so big, so wide, so far that it just laughs at all the excuses you make to hold yourself back. -

Personal 1:1 life coaching
It’s about doors unlocking, windows breaking. It’s the discovery of new depths within yourself. It’s the light and the dark. It’s a slow trusting process and it starts with letting someone else in. No one said you had to climb this mountain alone. -
I have just 5 spots left this month if you are keen to work together & make this life your best one. My 8 week journey to truth course covers all the topics below.
Current state and what’s holding you back.
Knowing what you want and attracting it.
Core values and finding your purpose.
Discovering your limiting beliefs.
Vision and goal planning.
Finding your voice and speaking truth.
Unlocking your feminine power.
Discovering your self- worth.
Get in touch if you are ready to begin this journey and start living your best life.

I’ve learnt so much in my last year of coaching. I’ve learnt so much about humanity. It turns out those times when you have felt so alone & like no one knows what your feeling or going through well infact they actually do. -
Perhaps if we spent a little less energy on identifying what makes us so unique & different & started focusing on what makes us more the same I am certain we would feel less alone in this world. 🖤
Maybe we are missing the point?
Maybe the point isn’t about striving so hard to be known or seen.
Maybe the point isn’t even about knowing we made a difference.
Maybe the point is just about really showing up & accepting that our greatest points of impact maybe the kind that we never even come to know about.
