Sometimes we need a kick in the ass and stop feeling sorry for ourselves and we all could use some #selfmotivation. Not everyone needs this type of #motivation but I will say from personal experience it does work.  If you are serious about shedding unwanted pounds listen up and listen real good. Unfortunately the health industry has been promising quick fixes and instant results for years... which leaves us with a totally unrealistic view on health and the rate at which we can see results. Not only that, but the idea that you can take one pill to solve all your problems is a big fat lie. Now don’t get me wrong, you can see changes and you can create more ease in your life but the reality is, making a change takes WORK. If you don’t change your DAILY habits, you’re not going to see that change reflected. Now I don’t say this to discourage you, but rather to give realistic expectations on health and weight loss. Last night was a complete WRITE off for me and I’m so proud of myself for drawing a line and starting a fresh today. I stayed on plan until I had my packet of party rings 😩 #HELLO Trigger Food 🚨... 6 packets of mini bags later and 2 packets of space raders 👽 later and I was feeling sick as dog 😭 I really don’t know what came over me but I had to have them! #honest .

Anyway, line drawn and I’m actually at the gym now feeling pretty bloody inspired 🤩 each time I walk back into my old gym, I feel that buzz I felt before I went to New Zealand and fitness was a huge passion of mine, the best stress relief ever 😍 I was also in the best shape of my life both mentally and physically ✨ It’s a massive roller coaster ride and it’s about breaking habits and learning the balance. Anyone else get moments of madness like that?! 😂 probs just me 🤦🏼‍♀️

Brand new sheets and a very happy cat! Don't forget the importance of getting the right amount of sleep! Too little sleep can really hurt your weight loss attempts, which can completely counteract some of the other things you are doing. Remember, if you are exhausted it is OK and probably the better choice to skip a workout here and there to get more sleep. People focus so much on the exercise when it's not the biggest factor in most people's progress. Food is and exercise and sleep are pretty equal. Find a balance, don't let your sleep suffer just to get in a little extra exercise.

Some days I’m just fine, but some days I look in the mirror and still see a girl that’s 115kg. Some days I feel like I could move mountains, and some days I’m frustrated that I’m making no progress. Some days I’ll eat healthy, some days I’ll eat a block of chocolate for dinner (i.e. last night) But I guess that’s just part of the journey, I’m relearning what my body is and adjusting to this new lifestyle and it’s gunna take time

Happy Monday guys! Here is the WEIGHT LOSS TRUTH!!! I just don’t feel like it’s put out there like it should be, so why not start the week with some cold hard truth:) Feeling  depressed and “stuck” in the body you are in is a dark place. I will tell you the very honest truth, there are NO diet pills.... Teas... or magic remedy’s to losing weight! It takes motivation and strength! The ONLY way to lose the weight is diet and exercise.... and no I’m not talking about fad diets, I’m talking about a life change.... re-train your brain situation here🧠! Anyone with weight issues has or had a food addiction of some kind ( I told you... honest truth here) Start by walking for 30 min a day at a steady pace... slowly working your way into more intense exercise... the key here is to MOVE ... before you know it, your brain is going to automatically think “healthier options” as far as food intake! You just have to eat better. So my weight may go up a little temporarily, but I'll be back to eating better tomorrow and it'll be gone super quick.

Been great doing nutrition seminars in Jaguar all week, in every organisation I’ve delivered this year a few things are still a big issue in nutrition: -

- 🤷‍♀️ 1: People are confused resulting in them focusing on things that really don’t matter all that much (time you eat, how often you eat, if you eat brown/white bread 🍞 etc) -

- 👣2: People are missing the link between behaviour and outcome, the majority think following a “meal plan” is the answer to their problems - it’s NOT! -

- 📊Being able to map your behaviour to the outcome you want is the answer to sustainable results, the opposite is happening now “ I’m going to Ibiza can you help me lose a stone in two weeks” -

- ⚙️3: More practical guidance is needed more than theory, planning, habit building, embedding daily movement with a busy schedule etc -

- 📷 4: The selfies/likes are playing with people’s psychological health and making them mentally weak. - -

If you’ve truly been tracking everything that goes into your mouth extremely accurately for months at what you think is a caloric deficit, then it is not in fact a caloric deficit for you. But, more often than not, it’s inaccuracy in tracking. Nibbles here and there that add up, improper measuring of food, forgetting to track the butter/oil that you cooked your food in, etc. I’ve heard a few people swear up and down all day long that they’ve been tracking carefully at super low calories without losing a single pound. This just isn’t accurate. There’s information missing. I’ve even had one person tell me that they were “in a calorie deficit” for a full *year* and their weight didn’t change. Either the number they used as their deficit was wrong (due to inaccurate calculations, genetics, or prior or current condition that slows the metabolism) or their tracking was inaccurate or incomplete.

Headed to the masquerade ball! I know I will over eat, and possibly over drink. That's OK every so often. Not good timing for me since all my dietbets end next week, but worth it. Special occasions aren't meant for restriction. Eat well most of the time, and you don't have to worry when the special occasions come.

Spot the difference. This one’s a transformation with a twist. From carrying weight and no muscle, posing bent over double to hide my whole body....but having a decent C cup boobs. To losing weight, feeling healthier and posing with confidence, but having no boobs and really inside just not feeling quite happy. To now, thanks to @myacosmeticsurgery after having my boobs done, happy, healthy, and feeling womanly again. 🚨Surgery is a very serious decision. 🚨I am in no way promoting it to anyone. It’s a personal choice and not to be taken lightly. But I have to say if it is something you were thinking about, then having a chat with someone from Mya is a great place to start. For me having back what I lost (and a little extra) was the cherry on top of all of my hard work on my body. I’m delighted to share with you all that after my post a few weeks back, I have been chosen to take part in a Mya photoshoot at the end of the month! I’m really excited to share my story and experiences, and have some I’m sure beautiful professional photos to mark this stage of my life. Hiya! Another #weighinwednesday / #washboardwednesday check-in. With the exception of a blackout rager last Thursday (ballpark 3000 cal), I stayed around 1700 all week and had 2200 on Friday. Took a rest day  on Monday. Biggest change I’ve made to make my weekends more manageable is to work in treats and drinks over the week, so I’m not itching for anything come Friday. I know it sounds cliche and I’m way late to the party, but dammit, moderation works. In the past I would restrict too much during the week then go off in rage on weekends and set myself back so much. One doughnut/cookie/burger etc. won’t make you fat. Consistently eating more than your body needs over time makes you fat. The last few months have been physically, mentally and emotionally draining in my personal life. I'm really struggling to stay positive and all I want to do is binge eat.

Long post - So here goes some truth about yesterday.
I do not like this photo. There is one even worst that better depicts the reality of how I look and how I feel, but I do not feel like showing that just yet. It will serve as a before photo one day.

Yesterday was the big race, and I was not able to run it all. I made it to the finish line, amongst the last ones to finish. I got my medal, I posted my selfies. And that is great. I am happy and proud that I pushed through and finished when I wanted to give up. But I do not feel as a "half marathon runner" since for the big part I walked.
.
The truth is, other than being under-trained, that I am way to heavy. My feet were burning up. My ankle is sore. I am back at 110kg (242lbs) and that is what holds me back. In running, and in so much more. I still cannot understand what holds me back or what I am afraid of and why I think I cannot do this for myself.
.
I could find a thousand excuses why I don't and why and how I gained back all the weight and why I trained less, but the truth is none of it matters.
.
I want to loose the weight, I want to have the mental strength and I want to make it easier to run. I want to come back to Gothenburg and be able to run the whole race. How ever long it takes, but RUN. And the lighter I am, the easier it will be. For sure.

The only thing that holds me back is a thing I alone can change!

👋🏼👋🏼 friends!  I’m sorry to be MIA for the last month or so but I’ve had much needed me time and a diet break... you can say I’ve been eating like an asshole.  The only thing that has saved me from falling into old ways is my consistent working out and active lifestyle.  I have been drinking all the wine, eating all the hamburgers, and without a doubt in a calorie surplus!  I have gained fat and loved life.  With summer fast approaching and the huge difference 7-10 lbs makes on my tiny frame its time to reign the diet back in while consistently working out. My personal transformation, the money, the flexibility with my day to day time are absolutely the driving force behind why I coach. Little did I know when I started coaching part time that there would be much much more reward to be had. It’s really hard to describe the feeling I feel, but I’ll certainly try. It’s an indescribable feeling to come to realize that working on myself, sharing my #weightlosstruth, and openly talking about the hard stuff in life has BROUGHT amazing women into my life. Not only have I connected with new women, but it’s brought friends from my past back into my life for positive and empowering reasons. Maybe you’ve struggled with friendships, or connection in your life- and want to work on that now. Maybe you’ve struggled and felt overwhelmed in your health and fitness, and want a group to connect with and hit your goals together. Maybe you struggle with financial self esteem, and it makes you really uncomfortable- so much that it’s time to find another opportunity to change that. Maybe you just want to finally feel that you love yourself, you are confident in your skin, that you are creating lasting valuable friendships, all while empower yourself. This picture was captured on an amazing girls weekend with my friends/coaches/fitfamily. None of the amazing memories I’ve made in the last few years of my life would have happened if it wasn’t for saying yes- and started coaching. 👩🏻‍🔬Fun lesson on weight loss
This is my weight this morning, I have eaten practically nothing since I had my surgery on Thursday except for a bit of broth and I’m just now starting back on solids. Normally, I’m around 135-138 lbs. So I’m essentially 10 lbs ‘down’, but am I really? 👎 
Consider this, when we eat every day we almost always have food and fluids passing through our GI tract. That does add weight, some people might say 7-10 lbs alone. Then you consider dehydration cause wow does swallowing hurt and that’ll stop anyone from drinking water.
My point? 10 lbs can go really quickly. Especially when you’re not eating and drinking properly. And will come right back as soon as you begin eating again.
So when those 5, 10 day fasts sound soooo tempting and easy, just know, you’re not actually losing weight that fast. Those quick fasts will do more to further disorder your eating and weight loss expectations than it will further your goals.
Eat and move for health and happiness and everything else will fall into place!

Note: I would have been ecstatic about this weight 5 years ago, I’ve been a scale slave. It sucks, break the habit and stick it in a dark closet is my advice. Out of sight out of mind. I dug this out cause I was curious to see what my weight was right now and it actually horrified me. I wasn’t even this light after finishing Bootcamp! And I know I wouldn’t be as strong as I am if this were my stable weight.

There is no such thing as a slow metabolism only low levels of activity (NEAT). Unless you’ve been clinically diagnosed with some type of metabolic dysfunction, you can absolutely fire 🔥 up your activity and become more “metabolic” overall. Start with a 20 minute brisk walk daily.
