Well, the verdict is in. I faced the scale and gained 6.4 lbs on my 10 day vacation. 🤦🏻♀️
I’m sure it was a little bit more than that since I have been 💯 on track the past 4 days...so yes, I have my work cut out for me. Now..I know I didn’t gain 6.4lbs of “fat” in 10 days...and majority of it is water weight.....now I enjoyed every moment on that cruise without stressing over counting calories/points and I must admit it was so worth it.
as hard as it was to see that gain on the scale...I’m using it as a tool to hold myself accountable and push forward. I’ve been here before...on my previous cruise I gained 7lbs, and was able to lose that within the next two weeks...so that is my plan this time around. Remembering that this is a lifestyle, consistency is key. I don’t live or eat like I did on that cruise everyday...so being consistent in tracking and straying within my points will be the key in getting back me back to goal.
Seeing this side by side comparison sure helps keep me motivated. There’s about 45lb difference between the two... and I have no intention of going back. I have lost a total of -93lbs and currently at -86.6lbs lost.
This is a great example of why we shouldn’t stress so much about what numbers are shown on the scales... there are so many different factors which effects our weight day to day, here are a few of them✅

My program LIIFT 4, has an amazing meal plan. Staying consistent with eating good has always been difficult for me. But this program has changed the way I feel about eating because I can eat pasta, as long as I have the correct portion of it. .
You can change your life by feeding your body the nutrients it needs 80% of the time. No one’s perfect, so yes I cheat 20% of the time. But I can’t believe I’m starting to see abs. Home workouts really do work, combined with the right meal plan. Message me for details!

-There’s nothing wrong at all with cardio and using the scale to track your progress. But for those of you that are obsessed with the number on the scale like I used to be, I want you to know that it doesn’t make you who YOU are at all.
My program has been lifting, HIIT, and core these past 4 weeks. I promise these 3 moves still make me drip sweat everyday, just like cardio. And I’ve dropped maybe 1-2 pounds. But my body is changing and getting stronger even though I’m not dropping huge amount of pounds. These jeans I couldn’t pull up at the beginning, and now they fit like they used to. I’ve lost multiple inches in a couple parts of my body that I’ll post later in the week. Hours of cardio and staring at the scale may not be the answer for you. -
