Okay...I’m not a big fan of that plus sign but I have weighing in at morning groups for the past 2 weeks which is really messed up my results on the scales 🎯 Also, since I only weighed in on Saturday I’m giving myself a bit of slack 😅 I’m gonna be 💯 on plan this week and no naughtyness or going over my syns! ❤️ Going for a big loss for next Wednesday! ✨

Some morning are quick weetbix mornings, some mornings I have some time to do a proper fun brekkie. .
After a lot of muscle aches & pains from driving too much recently, I needed an anti-inflammatory brekkie this morning. .
Anti-inflammatory Smoothie bowl recipe:
1) 1/4 frozen banana.
2) 1 tbsp of blueberries.
3) 1 tbsp of oats.
4) 1/2 cup of frozen spinach 
5) 1/2 scoop of @awnprotein 
6) 150ml of milk.
7) Toppings of your choice, ideally including chia seeds for omega-3 👍🏻

Baked Spaghetti Squash Pizza Casserole💛🍕💛
Here’s another way to satisfy your craving for pizza without all the carbs and calories.

Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 60 minutes
Serves 6
…
INGREDIENTS:
2 small or 1 large spaghetti squash (about 4 pounds), cut in half lengthwise and seeded
1 pound lean Italian chicken sausage
24 oz jar pasta sauce (choose one with no added sugar)
8 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced
½ cup fresh basil, thinly sliced
Turkey pepperoni, about 20 pieces
Non-stick spray

DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees and line baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Roast spaghetti squash cut side down for 45 minutes or until just tender when you press on the shell.
3. While squash is roasting, remove chicken sausage from casing and cook in a frying pan over medium heat until fully cooked. Break up sausage into pieces as it cooks.
4. Add pasta sauce to sausage and combine, remove from heat.
5. When squash has finished roasting, let cool slightly and scrape out “pasta strands” into a large bowl. Add most of the sauce mixture to the bowl and combine with squash.
6. Spray a 9x13 inch baking dish with non-stick spray and add squash mixture.
7. Spread remaining sauce on the squash and top with slices of mozzarella and pepperoni.
8. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until cheese is bubbling.
9. Serve immediately with fresh basil and freshly ground black pepper.

So yeah shoulders this morning went down and I’m always surprised how sweaty shoulder day gets me. Such a small muscle group that used to feel like a glorified rest day, but when worked properly (note PROPERLY) it feels like a good solid work out all over.

BULLETPROOF COFFEE VS BALANCED BREAKFAST

Bulletproof coffee is often consumed as an alternative to breakfast for those following a ketogenic diet or low carb, high fat diet. 
Of course a bulletproof coffee is going to keep you feeling full, it is loaded with fat and fat takes a long time to digest!
BUT
Replacing a heathy, balanced breakfast with bulletproof coffee displaces a lot of important nutrients. Not much colour in that coffee ☕️ ⠀

If you enjoy WHOLE FOODS
Check out the balanced breakfast on the right. It provides fibre, protein  and healthy fats oh and let’s not forget the ‘micronutrients’. It will likely keep you feeling fuller for longer thanks to the significantly larger volume. It also requires you to CHEW your food! Yay!

It is a pretty large breakfast, I personally wouldn’t be able to eat ALL the food shown on the right! It does however tick all the core food groups. ⠀
Also you don’t have to have a bulletproof coffee to be ‘low carb’ 🙄 you can still use whole foods if this is the eating pattern your are interested in.

MCT oil is actually used in a hospital setting 🏥 for patients who are unable to digest or absorb conventional fats.

Today I cried! I cried because I weighed and there was a weight that I had no idea that I would come again one day (I have not had this weight for 14 years... and at the time I took medication to lose weight). I don't usually weigh myself out of Nutri's office, because I know what weight is relative, and it doesn't mean much... but I needed to weigh myself to measure dehydration during the race. and Paw! There was the weight I chased over the last few months! There was the 50kgs! A knot in the throat came up, a movie in the head! And it was hard to make the race with that knot.. Sometimes I let tears slip away. Because my journey has not been and is not easy. Nothing I say will make you understand everything I've been through to get here! I fight with the shadow of RAFA obese until today! and to see that I'm winning this battle makes a fondness in my heart! That pat on the back knows, saying "very good, Rafa, it's working." .

If you want to progress with your goals (losing weight especially), then pick your battles wisely. Think of it like a trade off. If you are ordering a heavy meal off a menu, then skip a snack that day and get an extra workout in. Or, eat before you head out to your function and have a drink instead of food. Otherwise, order with extreme caution! Skip the burger and fries, and try a healthy bowl, or a decorated salad with dressing on the side. Also check beforehand to see if the establishment offers the nutritional info or at least a calorie breakdown to help with your decision.

I had a meal from @stateandmain the other week as shown in the picture, and between the vibrant veggies, the missing carbs, and the sauce on the side, it was a clean choice. I also didn't have a snack later that night to avoid the extra calories.

Energy in minus energy out = a surplus or a deficit. So if you want to lose weight, you have to watch those total calories. Burn more off with exercise, and/or save more by watching what you eat. And as far as restaurants go, practice these tips to stay in line.

I put one table spoon of water 💧 and some sesame this time to bake banana cake. Then I baked it in oven. I recommend you to put water container in your oven so that the surface of your cake will not be dried and you can bake moist cake without burning your cake too much. 
If you don’t have oven at home, you can use a rice cooker or steamer, but please add two table spoon of water when you bake this cake by a rice cooker. This cake is reduced sugar recipe and rich of potassium. You can froze for your breakfast 🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌
