Those of you who’ve been following my journey may remember that I started almost 15 months ago. Thank you so much for all the love and support! The picture on the left showed up in my Facebook memories yesterday. Sorry for the quality but I was so excited about my progress! Those shorts were the golf shorts that I had purchased that season and they were falling off. The picture on the right was me yesterday. I couldn’t use the same clothes because I’ve gotten rid of them (they were too big). I’ve lost inches everywhere, but the most in my waist (8 inches!) and hips (5 inches!). What you may not know is that I almost started a year before I finally did. In hindsight, I can’t believe it took me so long to get started. What took me so long? Those excuses we all have. I homeschool four children, one of whom has a complicated time-consuming illness. I couldn’t take time and money from my kids to focus on myself! Truth is, I’m a much better mom since I’ve been taking better care of myself. I have more patience and energy and I’m showing my kids by example that our health is important. This program takes very little time. If I can do it, so can you! All you have to do is make it a priority. Because, if you do, you’ll find the time to make it work. You know you will. On my latest leg day, I chose some explosive Romanian Deadlifts.

Letting the bar lower slowly to mid-shin, and then exploding in a controlled fashion back to the start position.

Controlled movement is the key, and light-to-moderate weight is all that is required.

Bounce ball post-workout and the home to a big bowl of coconut yoghurt, chia seeds/ other seeds and nuts with cereal and fruit when I got home. And a quick stir fry for lunch. Saving all my stomach space for spaghetti bolognese tonight 🍝  #anyexcuseforpasta ▫️
