So I'm down another -2lbs from last week. So down by -3lbs in total. This is positive as I've had another really hard week, major staffing issues at work and I just pushed my weight loss goals to the back of my mind for the latter part of the week. Still made half decent choices but if I'm honest I drank 4 very large glasses of wine on Friday night and ate a pizza, had lunch out on Saturday again with wine, smashed the cheese all weekend and drank yet more wine and a couple of margaritas yesterday!! So I was expecting to have gained or at least stayed the same. I'm determined to cash in on a good week, I need to do a food shop tonight and I'm getting back on the weights workout as I really enjoy it! .
Good morning! Slightly different approach moving into week three. I'm short on time, but I really want to keep this up. Just weighed myself and I'm once again a loser! Will post my progress on that in a moment. So... I'm going to try simplifying this in an effort to stay on track. I will post my full days worth of food in the evening instead of throughout the day as I'm just so stretched for time at the moment. .

I have used all the excuses. I didnt have time, its expensive, the kids are demanding, I'm too tired/sore/busy.
There are days where I have one hour to myself. I want to sit there, on the couch. Have a snack or meal I dont have to share or measure. Watch something I actually WANT to watch. . . . But it's not about having time. It's about making time. Wanting to change, to try harder, loose weight, and eat healthier.
So instead I put on my sneakers and used that hour to get my workout in and shower quick before it was time to run to my next errand.

I have definitely been avoiding this post because frankly, words are entirely inadequate. How am I to capture an entirely new nation, culture, and language; a rich new life filled with the pursuit of Christ and his kingdom, with only 26 letters at my disposal? From dancing palm leaves, chattering monkeys, crashing ocean waves, and the songs of the Amazon to a chapel trembling from the praises and dancing bursting within it, hundreds of children given the chance to smile again, the healing tears of a broken group being knit together as family, and the gentle whisper of God’s love in the early morning hours... my life has become lavished with greater beauty and pain than I have ever before known. Each new day brings me deeper into the Father’s heart, where I am being broken and put back together in a gut wrenching but fulfilling process. The prayers of my Kingdom family are absolutely invaluable as I venture into the Favelas to reach children living amidst unimaginable evils and seek direction for the location of my Outreach phase. Thank you to all who are walking through this journey with me through prayers and support. Day 15 - Reigniting Your Motivation
You've made it to week THREE! The final week, the final countdown. This IS IT!
Don't let your mind play games on you today.. you may start thinking "isn't two weeks enough?!" or "I think I have this thing down, maybe the last week is pointless" ... but it isn't!!
Channel your inner strength, pivot to a simpler routine if you need to, but keep going. Finishing the #21DSD isn't about just going back to how you ate before the detox! It's about incorporating the healthy lessons you've learned into your life beyond the three weeks.
Tell us, what are some lessons you've learned? What will you continue doing?! For me, it’s not needing a sweet treat in the evenings, keeping lots of veggies and healthy fats in my diet and that gluten is always a no. -April
