The man we bought the house off called into have a look a couple of days ago. He was almost crying (I think he actually might of shed a tear, god love him) He couldn’t believe we saved it! He said it had been in his family over 100 years 🙀 We can’t believe we saved it either! We’re so glad we did!!
MEXICO TRAVEL STORY PART 6:
After we showered, we then went back to our vehicle and ready to drive to our next destination.
To our surprise, SH*T!! most of our luggages were missing, backpacks, shoulder bag, and foods are gone too. We then immediately asked for help from some locals and taxi drivers nearby, called the police, and scattered ourselves to check around.
2 sets of Police finally came in after 20-30 minutes. Initially, we got interviewed to what happened. They searched the area for clue or maybe at least the robbers throw our I.D’s or passports somewhere, but too sad they found nothing. While all of this are happening, fraud alerts regarding our debit and credit cards starts to pop up in our emails and cellphones. We immediately asked the police to go to the area where they are using our cards, but too bad they replied “WE CAN NOT DO ANYTHING”. We then suggest that maybe they can call the precinct station there, to investigate the place as it was a big supermarket (Walmart) and for sure they got cameras around. But again they said “WE CAN NOT DO ANYTHING AND WE HAVE TO ATTEND TO ANOTHER CASE”. We insisted a lot of times but unfortunately we figured, even how much we beg for help they can not help us at all! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We are advised then to go to Municipio de Tulum to ask for police report. With just an oral driving direction, luckily we found the area. But the only Lawyer available was about to leave as it was getting late and language barrier are real. With my limited Spanish, I was able to tell her what happened and she then feel sad for us, decided to stay to help us and even gave us discount for legal fee. With the help of her friend over the phone, she finally gave us an official police report that hopefully we can use for the next days. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⚜️Photo above is one of the cenotes (pronounced cey-NO-tays and derived from a Mayan word for "well") in Tulum, Mexico which is is a natural pit, or sinkhole, resulting from the collapse of limestone bedrock that exposes groundwater underneath and part of a massive underground network of rivers and caves that remain, for the large part, unexplored!
Play tennis before or after work but don’t want to advertise that fact by carrying a flashy racket bag?
The 24 hour bag + Weekend (M) carry 2 rackets, tennis gear, work attire plus tech accessories 🎾🎾
Today we fly back to Bremen. We are going to miss pan con tomate y jamón for breakfast, having our friends over and, of course, our family. But we can't wait to wear jeans and jumpers, watch the rain from our sofa and enjoy cooler temperatures. I'm sorry, but I just can't stand those Spanish 40°C more than a weekend. I guess living almost 8 years in the North of Germany do that to you... 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️

One of my New Years resolutions was to throw out colour and embrace a more mature and sleek neutral colour wardrobe. Clearly I failed and got worse. Colour is wonderful. Also thank you God and global warming for the best winter days. #ohjoy ...//
