Regrann from @wecfoods -  Hello healthy you.....its  midweek, have been you been bold enough to try out new healthy recipes. Food is thy medicine and healthy eating doesn't have to be stereotyped.

So when you are in a mood for some scrumptious baked treats for brunch  or mealtime you can try out this DIY 6 recipes sweet  potato  banana  cupcakes. 
Ingredients 
1/2 cup  sweet potato banana flour @wecfoods
1 cup almond milk
1/2teaspoon baking  soda
1/2 cinnamon 
3 tablespoon honey.
1tablespoon olive oil or coconut oil

Directions 
Mix all dry and wet ingredients  separately. Add  wet ingredients to the dry ingredients.Mix  together, pour into muffin pans and bake for 10 to 15mins .

Sweet potato banana flour is ideal for  baking and can also be eaten as swallow with any soup choice.

From the time of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, trees have been used as metaphors to represent a person’s individual personality. We all know essentially who we are, what we want and need however, subconscious beliefs and thoughts can stop us from creating the life we want.

The drawn tree brings unconscious thoughts and old beliefs to a conscious level where they can be evaluated, modified, and transformed. It identifies self-sabotaging patterns of behaviors and non-productive habits. Numerous scientific studies have revealed that only 5% of thinking is conscious whereas the remaining 95% of thoughts and beliefs are not in our awareness. That means that the subconscious component of thinking holds all the power behind self-esteem and confidence.

Please join us tomorrow night, August 16th from 7:00 - 9:30pm as we FLOW & GROW to raise money for @katiesartproject, a non-profit that helps create lasting art for children with life-threatening illnesses.

We planned an amazing night of yoga and mediation lead by Sharon Calder of @calmandgoyoga. Sharon has more than 15 years practicing yoga. The #1 leading Tree Reading expert, Dr. @janetrcrain will be doing free readings and will provide each participant with accurate personal insights. 
We’ll enjoy food, drink & dessert  graciously donated by:

Summer is coming to a close and with that comes back to school chaos. This can be a hectic time for everyone (kids, moms, teachers, etc.) and can seem overwhelming.

For one...I got lazy and more importantly I was clueless when it came to how I ate. 🥗🥦🥗

It was more about what tasted good and how much could I eat of it, NOT what is this doing for my body...or to it? 😬😱 I was such a brat about my health....I wanted to eat whatever the heck I felt like eating, go to the gym for 30 minutes 2-3 times a week, (mess around on the machines I didn’t really know how to use)....and lose the freshman 15. 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

So I thought, maybe I just need to eat less, and fill in the gaps with one of those “shake for breakfast, shake for lunch” dealios. But I actually just ended up spending a TON OF MONEY on cans and cans of JUNK that weren’t helping me in the long run. Because food was just a crutch, I had no idea that there was such value in FUELING my body, in ensuring that I had ONE meal a day that was packed with vitamins and nutrients and other things it needed...and then the rest of the time just being SMART (and not so bratty) about my choices. Not perfect, just SMART.

🔥 Didn't have me counting calories or leave me feeling deprived. I needed an option that was a no-brainer and filled me up and tasted amazing.

🔥Was worth the investment and would include more than just a low calorie "magical" potion or a straight-up protein drink. I needed accountability, support and someone way smarter showing me how good this was for me.

🔥 Was a LIFESTYLE and not a DIET. What I'd been doing wasn't working. I needed a fresh approach and to learn from someone who'd ACTUALLY made a transfomation themselves. And I had to know I could continue this forever.

Caffeine is classified as a stimulant, and as an nootropic. It can help with performance in the gym, as well as cognitive function at work etc. It is beloved by many for these reasons.
- 
Unfortunately, you build up a tolerance to caffeine. You need to up the dose after awhile to get the same effects. This is why it is common for most people to drink 4-5 cups of coffee a day.
- 
You don’t want to become completely reliant on caffeine just to get through the day, or your workout. Instead use it as a tool for when you really need it.
- 
I highly recommend coming off caffeine every 8 weeks in order to rebuild your tolerance. Going cold turkey at first may cause you to experience some pretty severe headaches. So i recommend swapping the coffee for some green tea which still contains some caffeine, but not nearly as much.
- 
After a few days, try cutting it out completely.
