Knowing a client appreciates that I captured memories is a good feeling. But the best I've felt by what I've captured, is when a bride called about 6 months after her wedding. She asked if I could create a large print of her mother that I took on her wedding day. She said it was her favorite picture ever for her mom. I asked what it was for and she told me her mom's funeral. I was shocked. Her mother had passed away suddenly and it was devastating to her and her family. She went on to explain that she never asked me to take a picture of her mom - she wouldn't have even thought about it as it was her special day getting married. But now, the fact that I took a moment to capture an image of her mother and one that was literally her favorite, meant the world to her. It was so sad and at the same time meant so much to me that what I did (my job) to capture a wedding day meant so much to her.
