I’m always impressed by my brides that rock gorgeous heels like this as if it’s no big deal. If it were me-I’d fall, roll my ankle, or do something else extremely clumsy. So rock on to those skilled stylish brides who are ninjas walking down the isle in crazy heels 🙌🏻
I’m still on that “wedding high” from everything that occurred this past Saturday. Cheers to Katie + Nick for having me tag along and capture their amazing day! ☺️ (full sneak peek on my FB page - link in bio)
The last four weddings I’ve photographed have all sported a lovely shade of burgundy red, paired with complementing navy or black. I don’t care what @vogue has been saying about this year’s fashions — you HEARD IT HERE FIRST: Burgundy wins as official color of the fall 2018 season in my opinion. (Am I tired of seeing it? Not. a. chance. 😍💃🏻)
Movie star looks on this bride to be. 👰🏻💄

Alright, I'm ready to get a wee bit personal tonight. I'm working on finishing an incredibly sweet, intimate wedding from a month ago that took place in this old farmhouse on the Maine coast. This photo strikes me because I am currently searching for our own home on the coast. I spend hours combing over properties I've already looked at. I weigh community vs beauty of space vs cost. I am so excited, but at the same time disheartened. I know the town on the midcoast I'd like to move to, but still find myself looking elsewhere because so little is coming on the market. I'm looking for advice, but more importantly I'm looking for a wonderful community to be part of in Maine. Having lived there before I know how many wonderful people abound- but also how isolated you can be/feel in the winter. I definitely fear loneliness even with an amazing husband and dog, but am so inspired by the landscape and feeling of freedom that abounds. This is life for me -a mixture of options, excitements, and realities. All I seek now is a balance of it all.
Sunday I photographed an elopement in Jackson, NH and I had been so excited ever since the couple booked with me over a year ago! Needless to say, it was absolutely everything I had hoped for. Jenn and Andy not only trusted my vision, but they were incredibly fun to hang out with all day! We got fogged in and it made everything magic! I can't get over these images 😍😍 and can’t wait to share more! ✨

This bouquet is more put together than me on most days and that is v okay because it would take me a lifetime to get these stems looking perfect and wow being a florist is probably really hard I have so much respect for all you flower caretakers out there (10/10 job @wisteriaflowersandgifts 💜) PS: what is your favorite flower? Mine are sunflowers 🌻:)
Gorgeous views from the Piers Park!💯⠀
