Gorgeous spring morning, to be out, reconnecting to nature.
Using this time to educate myself more on the subconscious mind, while listening to “Wayne Dwyer- excuses be gone”! Something I’ve realised I’ve allowed my own subconscious excuses to stop me from creating the life and Health I choose to feel.
Personal development work is a continuous process. For all the work I have done, I am still working on my own inner excuses, that have and do hold me back, working on releasing these.
This biggest one is around my own health and wellness. I’m always reading and talking about our long term health and well-being. I’m strongly passionate about looking after our minds and bodies for years to come. So we can still be functional as we age.
However my own health/fitness has deteriorated so much in the last few months. Because of the excuses I was telling myself and fear I was feeling, around injuring my knee again. So instead of taking small steps to be getting my movement in daily. And doing a little each day. I stopped all together or wasn’t consistent. “Just incase I hurt my knee”, which honestly it’s been fine for months.
Honestly I’ve been scared of the effort needed to gain my fitness back. Again instead of thinking small steps, looking to far back to what I could do before. And seeing it to far from my reality again.
As Wayne says in the book, we all have “memes”, going around in our heads, telling us what we can and can’t do! It’s all part of the excuses.
I have been so hot and cold with my own fitness for longer then I can remember, it’s because of the bullshit excuses I always tell myself. Like it’s to difficult to get back to my ideal health. “What’s ideal health”? For me it’s where you feel your best, and that is different for us all!!
So it’s time to stop those memes in there tracks, and start focusing on changing them, to what I choose as my reality!
What excuses or memes are going on in your head, stopping you from succeeding, in whatever area of life. Health, fitness, career, study, money??? Are you ready to change those excuses.

I don't normally buy women's clothes, but this day I didn't find anything in mens clothing at the Goodwill, so I took a look at women's clothing and found this Jacket by Candiss Cole. After looking up comps I saw her clothing sold for around $100+, so I bought it for $4.50. After looking more into it I realized it was a Silk Jacket by her with only 1 more listed to sell at over $400. I listed mine for $350 or Best offer and after a few months I get an offer for $175. SOLD.

I am loving the shift in the Universe right now. From the amazing classes with my fam this morning at a business I own with my best friend that we used to dream about to spending some quality time with my sister and having her braid my hair to hang out tonight , to just thinking about how hard I’ve worked towards making my passions come to life and having the most amazing people close to me ... 👀 Don’t look back - we waste so much time thinking over what has gone and panicking about what’s to come we can become overcome by anxious thoughts 😢 It can also block us from moving forward and recovering all the good things payed out for us by the universe. Calm your mind be focusing on this moment now and say to yourself “I am where I am and that’s ok”. Calming words to yourself like “everything is always working out for me” By doing this it can help you focus only on now and not get so caught up in the past or what’s to come.

"How I Beat Worry Efficiently":
I had to make it my goal. During the journey a few years back I found out something mind blowing, I quickly came to realize that the worries weren't truly mine; and poof that was it. All I needed was to do a package return.
Turns out we learn to worry as we grow up from those we look up to and the behavior compounds on itself as the years pass, most of the worries are either what has happened or what hasn't yet. The mind has the ability to put together images that reinforce the emotion *thinking* that it is helping but little does the mind know that it actually makes things far worse.
Lately I stumbled upon a book by Dale Carnegie "How To Stop Worrying And Start Living". He clearly states that one can't possibly be worried while in a state of relaxation, in other words 'you can't be relaxed and worried at the same time; it's one or the other'. Powerful stuff!
Though I've never been an avid book reader (I've made it my goal to start reading 2 books a week), but I love the way he emphasizes "relaxation", which is what I live for. I've always had the ability to relax my mind/body/spirit regardless of the circumstances in real time. People can flip upside down around me and I remain the same and still get things done, for that I'm forever grateful.
Not that I'm insensitive, not at all, in fact I am a very sensitive person - it's just that during my personal journey I've realized what the ego is capable of, it has the ability to create things that do not exist only to force them into our lives after enough repetitions through thoughts.
With that said I still wish I had come across the book earlier as it has a whole lot more information including why people worry and how to take the power back over one's own mind.
