Wonderful long weekend in Toronto with my hubby. A double decker tour on a sunny Sunday was a great way to spend the day but the tour guides chin hair kept me transfixed. 2 lone course white hairs just sitting there. Why? She was in her early 30’s and seemed put together otherwise. Did she forget to tweeze or didn’t notice that they had popped out over night? Would she have been offended if I’d offered to tweeze them for her? 1, 2 and VOILA they’d be gone. No...scratch that, even though I thought it. That would have been uncomfortable for her and possibly insult her. Maybe she likes the little buggers? Enjoys pulling and brushing them with her fingers when deep in thought. I attempted to take a photo of just her chin but it was the angle of her head when the light hit that really made them obvious. I needed to be really close up to have gotten a good shot. There was just no subtle way to do it. Rogue hairs can just appear over night or so it seems. I wax my chin because I have more than a few hairs. Hirsutism is a heavier and courser groups of hairs that can result due to hormonal reasons. Weight gain, weight loss, PCOS, age, birth control, genetics, pregnancy... the list goes on. If you see me with chin hairs I’m only a few short days or hours from waxing them. Waxbitch is not immune. Tweezing is not an answer for those of us with more than a few hairs. Tweezing would be never ending and everyday so I wax to give me a couple of weeks free of hair. Laser is an option for those with dark hair but mine vary between dark and white. Laser also isn’t a guarantee for such a hormonal area of hair but it’s something to look into. Anyways, back to Toronto. It’s a fun, vibrant and safe city to visit and I recommend it especially if you’ve never been. Take the train and leave the car at the station. Back to the wax pots Tuesday. See you then! #ifthereshairimthere#waxit#waxitalloff#toronto#ontario#canada#icanthelpit#estheticianbrain#yongeanddundas#beavertails#kensingtonmarket#frescosfishandchips#vacationideas#harborfront#hirsutism#chinhair#waxing
📌The wax should take anywhere between 10-15 minutes
📌All the pubic hair will be removed from front to back (unless you’d like to leave some hair)
📌 If you are converting over from shaving, you will be advised to grow the hair for at least 3-4 weeks or longer
📌****Even so, after your first Brazilian wax you will notice there is still some stubble. This is due to 3 different cycles of hair growth, therefore needing at least 2-3 waxing sessions before all stubble will disappear

Letting @toptotoewaxingspecialist scientifically explain why us hairy Mary’s & Larry’s grow hair quicker between one wax over another. The body is a fascinating thing isn’t it?! ・・・
Do you feel like your wax sometimes lasts longer than other times? Or you feel a little leftover stubble even after a wax? Here’s why...
Your hair grows in 3 different stages;
1. The Anagen Phase
2. The Catagen Phase
3. The Telogen Phase
In the Anagen phase, hair growth is active and new hair is produced.
In the Catagen phase hair growth stops and is no longer receiving nutrients or blood supply. Hair detaches itself from the bulb.
In the Telogen phase hair growth has entered into a resting phase, and will remain visible and appear full until it is pushed out by new growth in the anagen phase.
Depending on which phase your hair is in when it is removed determines how long your results will last. •
When you wax you need to aim for 4 weeks between appointments which allows your hairs to eventually sync up and start growing at the same time, yielding longer lasting results over time. The more you wax and stick to a consistent schedule, the better your results will be.
Tip: Do not shave, tweeze, or use hair removal creams between waxing appointments as this interrupts your hairs natural growth cycle.
SMOOTHER SKIN & LONG LASTING RESULTS‼️ —— because the hair is removed from the root, your hair will take much longer to grow back from waxing while leaving your skin silky smooth
