I was aiming for 7 days raw and I succeeded. It was suprisingly easy. I felt called to fast on the 8th day instead of going back to raw & simple cooked veggies and now I'm on day 2 of a dry fast. Instead of ending it at the 7th day, I feel called to fast and continue to eat raw until it's been 21 days because they say it takes 21 days to break a habit. What habit am I trying to break? Unconscious eating. Alot of the time I did consider what I'm putting into my body and how it will effect me but there were plenty of occassion where I'd be like screw it and I would ignore my bodies senses and wisdom. I'm ready to let go of that unconscious practice because it doesn't align with my personal goals. I want to be a better example for friends and family who are influenced by me and of course, I want to experience the benefits of mindful eating myself. I hope everyone is well. If not, shut this app down and take a minute to take care of yourself. Personally when I'm off, I just feel hopeless and helpless and that just makes me go deeper and deeper into suffering. I always find it's a thought or a series of thoughts I'm attatching to or running from. Both take effort and in the process, they rob our energy and make us feel drained and low. Everybody has their own way to bring themselves out of the thick of thinking whether that's meditation, yoga, walking, exercising, writing etc. Whatever that is for you, utilize that gift. We often make taking care of ourselves our last priority but it should be one of our top priorities because what we're capable of doing for others is limited by our own physical, psychological & mental well being. The body is able to self-regenerate and self-rejuvenate. These processes are launched under the influence of stem cells. But while a newborn baby has one stem cell per 10,000 cells, that ratio in 50-year old drops to 500 000:1. The number of stem cells decreases with age along with the regenerating capabilities of the body. But it is possible to increase the release of stem cells into the blood! Just finished my 48 hours water fast.
I became really curious about fasting after reading the book "Miracle of Fasting". Highly recommended!
It's when we are deprived of food that our body can really heal and cleanse itself.
I broke my fast with a juice made from: cucumbers, oranges, pear, ginger and mint. 🍐🌱🍊
I have a long way to go. This is only the beginning, and I'm planning on doing longer fasts in the near future. I'll keep you posted how it goes.

Woke up 58.6Kg.
Felt extremely hungry and always thought about what to eat. Everything looked so delicious. I smelled food I saw like an idiot.
I walked for 5K this morning.
Quit my workout schedule cuz I felt less energetic, light-headed, sleepy, nauseous and unprecedentedly weak.
However, I made it to almost 34 hour water fasting now.
I looked up internet sources and other people’s experiences about fasting to make sure what happened to me is still fine to continue.
I feel better now unlike this afternoon, horrible.

Hello people! I'm back with my news.
I finished my 23 days water fasting with 72kg, two weeks ago.
Today i'm 76, wich is normal, after start eating again.
Two days ago i star with keto + Intermitent Fasting.
So, i only eat between 13pm and 20pm.
I'm happy, i fell well and healthy.
I have 10 more kilos to loose, but i know that i can do it. So i will do it.
⚠️ (Some things aren't discussed openly although they are natural bodily functions. In this post, I'll be commenting on a topic some might deem TMI.)💩
The last time I ate any food was on Thanksgiving. That was 19 days ago. I had the normal Thanksgiving meal, turkey, stuffing, etc. The next day I ate nothing and began my fast. And that day nothing happened, no bowel movement (even after all the heavy food I'd eaten the day before). I'm accustomed to being very regular so going a day without pooping definitely disturbed me. Fast forward to day three of my fast. Still nothing. I started to freak out a bit at the idea of all this waste from my Thanksgiving dinner being locked up inside me.👀 So I ran to the store for an enema, a very drastic measure. And even after the enema, I didn't experience much relief. I went online and read that it is normal on a fast to go the entire time without having a bowel movement and that made me feel less worried. Although I kept hope alive that it wouldn't apply to me! 🙀
Unfortunately I have to say that as of day 19, that turkey and stuffing and everything else is still in me! It doesn't appear to be going anywhere any time soon.⏳ I have definitely learned my lesson and if I ever fast again, I'll be sure to taper my eating off gradually beforehand to cut down on how much waste my body retains. And of couse, I'm very curious about when I'll finally be able to go!
