I had enough of the colored, metal-flecked clay left over from the last dragon that I posted, so I made a second one! The clay only had flecks of green and blue, so I decided to make a water-themed dragon, resulting in big finned wings and a cute finned tail tip. I used green and blue super chameleon flakes on the fins for an enchanting, metallic shine. Depending on the angle, the green shifts to gold and the blue shifts to purple, so you get a ton of color - super pretty! ✨ I added a pearl for the dragon to guard as I thought she needed a deep sea treasure to call her own.
Crafted from polymer clay, gilding foil, alcohol ink, @solarcolordust's super chameleon flakes, glass beads, and a Swarovski crystal pearl. Sold at Otakon 2018.

I did this one a while ago!! I’m afraid to glaze it because I don’t want to mess it up. Also I used a silver tone, and noir camera filter, I think for my unfinished pieces I’m going to do this more often.
This gorgeous Spiralite Lucky Dragon pendant contains an ancient fossilized crystallized seashell that formed over millions of years. It's guarded by a mystically crafted Chinese Dragon with gorgeous pink colored Swarovski sparkling eyes! The Chinese dragon is different than the European dragons of medieval times. Chinese dragons are considered spiritual and cultural symbols of prosperity and good luck, as well as a water diety that brings good weather. This pendant is the perfect magical statement piece for those who love dragons, water creatures and treasures of the sea!
Spiralite is a crystallized 50-100 million year old gastropod seashell that was found in central India. This area used to be submerged under the prehistoric sea called Tethys. Spiralite holds the ancient energies of our Mother Earth for millions of years due to it's energetic imprint by being in water. Water, as we know by Dr. Masaru Emoto, holds energetic frequencies that have been sonar influenced by the dolphin and whale guardians of the planet. The quartz drusy formed inside this fossilized seashell also amplify and hold the energy through time as this #Spiralite formed under the Earth.

Honestly I’m super impressed with the rate of growth in this species. Drogon is currently about 20” total length and with him being a male New Guinea Frilled Neck Lizard he’s only 6” short of his full adult length though he’s still got a ways to bulk up. This is pretty impressive when you consider he’s less than a year old. The majority of New Guineas you see on the market are farm raised in New Guinea while Australians are all captive bred, hence the massive price difference. Knowing this though we can estimate he was born some time in early winter here, which is the height of the wet season in New Guinea. I hope to eventually get a female New Guinea as Frilled Necks aren’t overly difficult to breed in captivity, just no one does it because imports are so cheap unfortunately. #frilleddragon#frilledlizard#frillednecklizard#agama#beardeddragon#uromastyx#waterdragon#lizardsofinstagram#lizards#reptiles#reptilesofinstagram#petlizard#petdragon#petreptile#petdinosaur
