16th September 2018 Worcester Half Marathon, a dry 16 degrees. A beautiful run if you haven’t done it. The race starts on Croft Rd in front of the railway viaduct, heading towards the Butts & City Centre, passing the Museum of Royal Worcester towards the Cathedral, along side the River Seven heading towards the Cricket ground then towards the University before running around the countryside at 6ml, this is a good cutoff point if your not feeling well/injured. The final ml meets up with the 10k runners running along the River seven & a sprint finish on Croft Rd. This was my longest run since 7th July #bbc_hm after having a 4/6cm tear in my soleus. Not experienced nerves like it, two reasons 1) stressing about my calf 2) hadn’t ran that distance. I did it not my fastest but I’m happy, I’m in one piece 👍🏼I’d like to thank Linda for running with me & moral support from fellow Kenilworth runners. @greenarmy1986 For Tammy who’s helped my recovery with #cryotherapy @activeclinicsuk #birmingham , For Paul my Physiotherapy @kpctherapycenter #warwick My PT @movement_hub #virginactiveuk#solihull . Danni @runlikeagirlaustralia who was training me for Chicago before my injury, who was there at the end of the phone when feeling down. #australia My regular sports massage by @fayebarrsportsmassagetherapy #leamingtonspa . To Peter @vespa_endurance helping with vitamins/Nutritian. Of course the best person is my Mum who’s always there for me whatever time of day I run. @pauline1939 A big thank you to all Organisers, marshals & supporters, #worcesterhalfmarathon#worcesterrun#worcestershire#worcestercitycouncil#bbcherefordandworcester#samaritans#runlikeagirlaustralia#vespa_endurance#activeclinicsuk

John Talbot (1387-1453), 1th Earl of Shrewsbury. Here as a "weeper" on the tomb of his (second) father-in-law Richard de Beauchamp (1382-1439), 13th Earl of Warwick. Talbot married on 6 September 1425 in the chapel of Warwick castle the oldest daughter (and till 1425 also main heiress) of Richard de Beauchamp and his first wife Elizabeth de Berkeley (1386-1422)- Lady Margaret de Beauchamp (1404-1468). She was his second wife with whom he had 5 children and he also brought into this new marriage 5 another children from his first marriage to Maud Neville (who was his stepsister...). After the death of Henry de Beauchamp (1425-1446) , Duke of Warwick - son and heir of late Richard de Beauchamp- and death of Henry's daughter Anne in 1449- Talbot, who saw himself as an heir of his late father-in-law now, through his wife, charged and questioned the last will of Beauchamp. The will that made more or less his child/daughter from second marriage heir in case of death of his son...Talbot was in this legal battle supported by Edmund Beaufort (1406-1455), Duke of Somerset and George Neville (1407-1469)- two other sons-in-law of late Beauchamp. They all wanted their piece of the huge and very tasty Warwick cake, in the name of their wives. Unfortunately the King Henry VI (1421-1471) supported rather legal claim (through Beauchamp's testament) of Anne de Beauchamp (1426-1492) and her unscrupulous husband Richard Neville (1428-1471). Man who was even more ambitious and unscrupulous than the other hungry sons-in-law 🙄 if only poor Richard de Beauchamp knew which chaos and hatred his will from 1435 would cause.... #historylover#history#realhistory#talbot#warwick#warsoftheroses#hundredyearswar#medieval#middleages#england#english#englishhistory
Got a new #pedalboard today <3 Didn't even realise how much of a #darkglass fanboy I have become over the years until just now, haha.
I used to go through the loop chain of the noise gate back when I regularly played my VGS Cobra 5 bass which had quite a lot of pickup humming but it's not an issue with my #ibanez and I don't think it will be one with the #kieselguitars bass I recently ordered either. Stoked!! #pedalporn#warwick#bosseffects#ebscables#bass
