Another year, another Walk to D-Feet MND walk. There was a huuuge turn out today. There's more awareness of this atrocious disease that doesn't discriminate it's victims. Please if you can donate, donate, donate. It's the only way we can D-feet this.
Many thanks to our friends and family that joined us today. It means the world to us and to Peter and Paul.😇😇 ❤❤❤ #mnd#als#nevergiveup#walk#itkills#fightmnd#pleasedonate#walktodfeetmnd
Oh Mum, what we wouldn’t give to have you with us this Sunday walking to D’feet this bastard of a disease that took you from us. Shena’s Army will continue to rally the troops in mums honour until a cure is found xx #nevergiveup#walktodfeetmnd
Today, I completed my second MND walk for the year with my dear friend, Christina, and my mum on what was a beautiful Sunday morning.
In total, due to my amazingly generous friends, I managed to raise $1,100 for MND research ($400 more than my modest goal of $700). Even though it is still such a small amount and there's still so much more to do, I am truly grateful for everyone who contributed, walked with me or just lent their support.
If you still wish to donate, I'll be leaving the link open for a bit longer before I set myself a new goal next year! 💙
Join us as we Walk to D’feet MND. Check out the link in my bio. If you can’t make it to a walk venue we’d appreciate a donation, nothing is too small. Your donation will help people living with MND in there every day life. #shenasarmy#walktodfeetmnd
Massive thank you to the inspirational @cathmuir for sorting the #WalkToDfeetMND Thanks to everyone who took part and for those who sponsored us, means a lot. And absolutely buzzin I got @littlelaudz in a Mavs Top #UTM 🧡
So lucky that this weekend we’ve had two families holding fund raising events in memory of family they’ve lost to #MND . Thank you to Brenda’s family for organising their annual sponsored walk at Shorne Country Park yesterday. #thankyou#walktodfeetmnd#families
Earlier this year some of my closest friends lost their mum to Motor Neurone Disease, today I am doing the Walk to d’feet MND with mumma bear to help raise money for research so other people have a chance to fight this horrible disease ❤️❤️ #mnd#fightmnd#walktodfeetmnd#nevergiveup @fightmnd
A huge thank you to everyone who took part in this years Walk to D’Feet MND! The weather was fantastic and the event was a huge success. We couldn’t achieve that without you so thank you!
What a beautiful walk for an amazing cause that is so incredibly close to my heart. I'm so grateful for my friends that came to walk with me and even more grateful for the amazing contributions of some beautiful people. My humble goal has been exceeded, so I will be looking at a new goal for the walk in November 💙💙💙 #mnd#walktodfeetmnd#fundraising#als#canberra
Today my family and I participated in the walk to D’feet MND for those of you who don’t know motor neurone disease is a horrible illness that is destroying families across the world and there isn’t any cure YET but if you have a second can you hope over to the motor neurone disease website and please donate #walk#MND#walktodfeetMND#family#needacure#pleasehelp
Really touched that 2 days after my first post, I'm proud to say that, due to the generous contributions of some beautiful people, we have already passed the halfway mark of my rather small goal! Thank you to everyone who have been kind enough to give up their time or money (or both!) to support me and my family 💛
This year I am fundraising to raise awareness and money for research for MND. I will be participating in two walks, one in Canberra in June and one in Sydney in November.
My father passed away from MND back in 2009, and I continue to miss him every single day. This cause is incredibly close to my heart so I'm reaching out to all my friends to ask for their help in raising money. If you don't wish to donate, you can always join me for the walk in Sydney!
To my overseas friends, you can still donate but I cannot guarantee that your donation will be tax deductible in your country!
