More E34 shenanigans with @vapin_rain and @because_sebass this past weekend, getting the ‘95 525i Wagon closer to a usable state. Most of the interior trim pieces have been reinstalled and found a few more surprises in the car, but more importantly, brake lights and gauges now work, and the rear hatch wiring rebuilt thanks to @because_sebass’s expert handiwork. The story behind the wagon (and the green ‘93 525i sedan) was quite an adventure, but that will be a story for another time. 🙃
Look at all that trim. So much polishing. My arms were worn out by the end of the night. Some of it came back to a mirror finish. Others had some heavy scratching that would only come out with sanding and sanding so not something I wanted to do on trim you can't get replacements for. So I polished and brought back as much shine as possible. I also used the metal polish on the glass. Works like a dream!
The friends I've met this year have been amazing. I'll be at 2 more shows this year then I think I'm putting the wagon away for winter as soon as I buy a truck. Got lots of plans for her for the 2019 show season. Lookin forward to all the compliments and broken necks next year. Time for big moves 😍
