This morning as I walked outside to a -2C (28F) , it raining, there was frost on my windshield. I left for work taking deep sigh , I hate this time I year. I took a moment and stared at the rainbows. Then stared at my bike who despite being wet from rain was shining with the rainbows in the background. I took a deep sigh and reminding myself there is light at the end. #thereishope#vstar1100#yamahavstar#vstar#rainbow#fallsucks#ihatecoldweather

Over the weekend I took the Georgia model from Nightcraft Bobbers for a ride. This was a limited edition bike named after Ty's Daughter, it was 1 of only 10 made with the buyer's getting to pick what colour stripe they wanted. It has a very solid and heavy look about it, but I was pleasantly surprised at how light and easy it was to handle. Reaching the ground is normally an issue for me but I managed to do so with ease and the running boards were really comfy once my feet left the road. Cornering and doing short U-turns was a breeze, and I found the bike to be very well balanced and within only a matter of minutes I didn't feel like I was riding a bigger bike at all, even though it's much bigger in size than what I'm use to! It had plenty of up and go but as it was a cold and rainy weekend I didn't get to go too far and I'm really looking forward to taking it for a spin in the Hills to really test it's handling ability on some winding roads!
Hey, motorcycle pals, and black thumbs, I am need of your assistance. I take my bike out for a morning scoot when I notice she's not givin'er as per usual; pretty sluggish, actually. Almost full throttle, and I was only going 60k. Not normal. Then I bring it back to the house, and shut it off, and then went to turn it on again, and it made THIS SOUND. Never heard it before. Bike is an '02 V-Star 1100, and yes, it's carburated. Any ideas, folks?
