FLEX FRIDAY: Slowly but surely seeing changes in my body. Just gotta stay focused and never give up. Not going to lie, fall/winter is the hardest time for me to stick to a healthy life style. All I want is yummy coffees and comfort foods. So glad I have so many Inspirational people to keep me motivated! Keep hustling peeps!!

Post workout recovery with Sophia! Leg day and started with ten sets of squats and deadlifts to 80% of my max. Used a machine it was pin loaded, but like the leg press and it hit my quads a little different. Finished up with calves and home to eat. Even though I didn’t take him up on his offer, thanks to Michael who stepped up and offered to spot me if I decided I wanted to #squat heavier.

Since I’ve had previous injuries I’ve been hesitant to squat the #barbell . But after squatting 120 (including the sled) on the #vsquat a few days ago, I decided to put myself in the #squatcage today and go at a somewhat light/moderate weight for myself to make sure I can #barbellsquat comfortably and safely by myself. Need to work on my form, but mission accomplished. Barbell is my friend. You will see me in the cage.
But as for this location, you won’t find me with many of the machines. They have a very limited range of motion and I felt like I should have had 5 phone books between my back and the seat to get into a proper position. Because of it I had to go a lot lighter on the abduction, adduction, and #hamstringcurls . I was able to go heavier on the single leg presses by 60 pounds with the machine here, but that’s a significant difference from what I do on the machine at my home location. 
Today’s workout:

1- BB #squats (65x4x10)
2- #splitgrip BB #deadlifts (65x4x10)

3- #singlelegpress (45x2x10, 60x2x10, 75x2x10 L&R)

4- #legabduction (80x2x8)

Yes! #legday is my favorite day! Sweating it out in the gym. Doubled weight with my #tgu ‘s today, and increased weight with everything else. Making progress. Feeling stronger. No evidence of prior wrist & hand burns, prior shoulder injuries, or the cysts that are currently in my knees.Making gradual and  safe strength gains. Now to go home for a sandwich, some exotic pole dance training, and a well deserved shower. 💪

한달정도 허리와 무릎이 아파서 하체운동과 복부운동을 쉬었더니..늘어나는건 뱃살과 허약해지는 몸뚱아리이네요😤

오늘도 중량 160치는것도 힘이들고 무릎에 살짝 통증이 올려는 조짐이 보여 바로 160까지만 하고 멈췄습니다😓

허리강화와 하체강화를 위해서 서서히 운동을 해야겠습니다🙄

Happy birthday @mike_borto ! A variation of the Charles Glass leg press workout on the V squat. Each set consists of

20 reps
15 second hold with legs bent
15 reps
15 second hold with legs bent
10 reps
15 second hold with legs bent
5 reps

Mike pushed through the first set and completed it but the 2nd set was too much. Bear in mind Mike will normally do a good 6 reps with 5 plates a side so do not let the single plate fool you. It is a killer!
