#122dayspostop oh for goodness sake! Can you see porky Jus there on the end?
I'd just come back from the island and it was my first day in the office, I'm told we're doing the photo shoot that will be used on all the marketing material and we get them back and I'm round like a malteaser.
Anyway I try to pretend they don't exist and then 6 months later (today) my lovely CMO comes over and says "oh Jus, do you remember your idea to include pictures of us with gifts for clients, well here's one you to keep. Just like that I was reminded of old Jus and I was so embarrassed that all my clients were going to be reminded of her too.
Sometimes the past will haunt you, but you can't let it get you down.
Fun fact NO ONE at work has commented on my weight loss 😂😂 and I mean no one!! I think it's cos they don't want to offend me, but bloody hell there's that photo and still no one has said anything 🤷🏾♀️
Gooood morning world and happy Saturday.
Taking today to workout, relax, enjoy this day and just live a little.
Life is too short to waste it on negative people and situations, have fun and have a great day everyone!! 👍👊🌞🤸♀️😜🙆♀️💜😁
🇺🇸Today is not my day. Nobody explained to me the big struggle with solid food. I tried to eat slow and just a little bit but I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I had the same feeling, totally full with pain in my stomach and like a big gas ball inside of my body. Like if I had eat an elephant. When I go to the toilet and tried to vomit it’s very difficult and vomit just water (sorry this is not nice). Where this water come from? I don’t have any idea because I don’t drink and eat at the same time. Maybe are gastric fluids from my little and tiny stomach. Have you ever had this feeling?
I've actually lost 76 but fitbit only rewards you with 5lbs increments lol. On Monday I'll be 5 months out. That means that on average I've been losing just over a stone a month. And with a target of a week to go I'm 2lbs away from my first proper goal weight. After that il have only 2st 13lbs to lose instead of currently 3st 1lb to lose. Back on my sessions with my PT next week too. But yeah I'm chuffed.
Potlucks —you either love ‘em or hate ‘em. I am pro-potluck, and I have been to/coordinated enough potlucks in my life that I feel qualified to write a book on the dos and don’ts of potlucking. Do- assign someone to bring the obligatory meatballs. Don’t be a jerk and come empty handed (at least offer to help!). I took part in two potlucks this week. Both of which had meatballs! These were my first potlucks since having surgery. To be honest, potlucks are a trigger for me, so I was a little unsure of how I was going to do, but I actually did pretty well. Granted, my sleeve really limits what I can eat, but there is still a constant battle in my mind—do I focus on protein like I should, or do I go for the comforting carbs? I went in armed with my own dish and small spoon and chose a meatball, a baked chicken drummette, and a couple tablespoons of a veggie casserole. It was mind blowing that I could only eat half of it. I did get some questions about my ultra small portion, but I didn’t feel ashamed in replying that I had weight loss surgery. I know this was just one test in a lifetime of challenges I will face as a bariatric patient, but I felt good about the outcome. #vsglife
Today I ran 480m without stopping. For some, this may seem insignificant, but for me this is huge. I suppose I hadn't realised how hard being 25kg heavier effected my fitness.
Thanks to @casbates21 for this quick, but killer workout.
See the second photo for how red my face was..... 10mins after I finished the workout.
