Mondays... do you hate them or do you love them? Just feel neutral about them? —
So many times so many of us hate Mondays. Especially Monday mornings.
Have you actually spent some time to think about why is this? 🤔
Is it normal to hate them? Is it cool? Is it something we bring from our parents? Is there anything we can do about it?
I personally don’t want to hate them. I used to. But I don’t want to anymore. We’ll always have Mondays once a week. Can’t change that... So instead of hating them I’d rather want to use them.
Maybe you’re thinking well the answer is easy. Monday means a new week when we have to go to school or to work. That’s why I hate them. And it’d be better to just simply stop going to school or to work. That’d be the solution. Or if not stopping then going to a different school or having a different job or having different people around you could solve this issue.
But with all due respect let me challenge you; could it be that we don’t need something new, something different all the time but rather we need a new perspective? A new way of seeing things? A new way of adding value? A new way of questioning the norm?
Don’t get me wrong, sometimes we do need to change things on the outside. But so many times it’s better to start on the inside.
What do you think? Could you see a new opportunity instead of just an other problem? Could you see someone to show love, appreciation instead of someone that’s just in your way?
Let’s start breaking the Monday hating paradigm. Start your day with who you’re thankful for. What you’re thankful for. Write these down. It goes a long way.
A smile on your way to school or work goes a long way.
Saying hi nicely goes a long way.
Looking in others’ eyes goes a long way.
Putting your bestest coolest outfit on goes a long way.
Start with a small change inside and outside.
Let’s start owning Monday mornings, even if they’re messy. 😎✌️🔥
