Since Nationals was my last outdoor shoot for this year I’ve been reflecting a lot on how that week went. I didn’t win, I didn’t place in the top 3, I didn’t break a national record and I didn’t shoot my average. But I never once thought about giving up. I kept digging even though my arrows weren’t going in the 10 every time. I continued to trust my shot process and I didn’t let my frustration get the best of me like I would have several years ago. But my biggest accomplishment was I never doubted my ability to compete with the rest of the girls. I definitely feel like I accomplished so much now and I’m really happy with my progress!
This year for camps we wanted to add something for the older kids to challenge them beyond the .22 range. So big thanks to Cutting Edge Rifles for bringing your long range shooting course to our camp and all the instructors for helping teach the next generation. And thank you @ryderred for this awesome shot. / @cuttingedgerifledesign @longrangeshootersoforegon @april_cooper01 @timcooper77 @courtkne8 , Conor Cook #raiseemoutdoors#gowild#vortex
