Many times in our life we find ourselves reflecting on the experiences we have already had and dream about adventures which are yet to happen. I am sure moments from this place will always stay alive and inspire me to jump out of my self-enforced routine boundaries. When is your next weekend out of town? 🏔
”The moment you feel that, just possibly, you are walking down the street naked, exposing too much of your heart and your mind and what exists on the inside, showing too much of yourself - that’s the moment you (might) be starting to get it right.”
"I bring everyone who has ever been kind to me with me...I have had rainbows in my clouds." - Maya Angelou
@dylpicklelemonade and I just finished up another 6,274 miles of roadtrippin’ in this beautiful country of ours. So many priceless memories with loved ones, 11 states, 9 national parks, camping, hiking, touristy things, music, art, new experiences, a few tantrums (as expected when you are 8 and cramped in a Honda Civic for 32 days), fishing and so much more.
More than the amazing scenery we experience on these trips, our hearts are forever filled and grateful for the family and friends who open their homes and their calendars for us when we are in their area. I love that these trips allow us to break bread and share some life with people we wish we could see more. The time with everyone is always too brief, but the memories and love that Dylan and I take home from these trips will last a lifetime. From the depths of our hearts, thank you for everything 💓 I can’t wait for Dylan to go back to school, so I can spend hours of quiet time in my office, sifting through a few thousand photos 😳

Summer 2016, fresh out of college and back to where it all began 👩🏼🎨🎨 other than the photos I took myself, these are the only photos of me in the process of painting the first #kansascityimsoinlove mural, taken by the talented @andrewtvo on his film camera as he was passing by the mural site! 📸 #flashbackfriday
TGIF in KC! 💙 Today’s #kansascityimsoinlove feature comes from the adorable @gracehoge!
My family & I are from Salina and we took a short weekend trip to the KC area. I had seen so many cute pictures with the mural and love going on adventures and finding artsy places so I found your page & followed the address to get to the mural! This picture was the result! I love how many unique and fun things there are in KC!
Tag @kcimsoinlove in your mural photos to be featured! 💙
So the battle of Antietam during the American Civil War was a bloody mess. As the Confederate troops retreated, they went through the nearby town of Sharpsburg where the fighting was done through the streets. You can still see a cannonball lodged in the brick wall of this house on Main Street (look at top right). #smalltownusa#maryland#antietam
