#SitWitMe and @travel_inhershoes during a quick pit stop on my morning commute - what a sunrise ☀️🐫✨ - something about the nomadic life that’s soooo appealing - watching a new sunrise every morning from a different location is definitely my cup of (Arabic) tea!
Wadi Rum desert is the home of the Bedouins - nomadic Arab peoples that are just the nicest humans ever and who kept calling me ‘the blonde bedouin’ 🙈😂
When was the last time you were up for a sunrise? This one was a tad painful - 4:30a alarm 🚨 but totally worth it:)
I rented a car and began an adventure down south in Jordan which has been straight up a journey from the cosmos and lesson in my divine feminine with ups, downs, side turns and a current stint in a police station dealing with a Jordanian wannabe Cassanova data thief and cyber stalker who messed with THE WRONG AMERICAN WOMAN. Poor little boy soul. But this beautiful, peaceful scene was right before I stumbled into this current iteration of my journey at a much higher point (err.. lower as it technically took place at the lowest place on earth). Thank you Dead Sea for blessing me with your healing waters to prep me before sending me into this masculine storm.
We are 63 miles into the Jordan trail on day 6. We are starting to figure out how to say no politely when invited for tea because the people are so awesome everyone invites us in which is great but each time we stop it’s 60 minutes and we lose distance. So our pace is picking up and we are hoping to make more distance after our resupply and laundry stop tomorrow!
