Hello Monday! It's another busy week this week, which involves a trip here tomorrow as I'm off to London for work. Tonight I'm doing something rather exciting 🙊 and the rest of the week is filled full of drinks, catch ups and Fashion Re:Boot on Friday night 🍹💃 what are you lovely lot up to? I hope your Mondays fly by!
I love to go through old pictures of my travels. I think the development away from analog cameras is really awesome and sad at the same time. On the one hand you can take as many pictures as you like and of course the newer models have more features than older cameras, but on the other hand you don't have them as physical picture prints. Of course, a selection of the best pictures might be printed afterwards and hanging in your living room, but there are a lot of pictures that tell a specific story about the trip that you would not print and hang up.
This picture is already over three years old; taken February 20, 2015. I took it close to Saint Paul's Cathedrale in London. My friend and I wanted to visit the church, but we did not keep in mind, that it might already be closed for the day. We weren't lucky. Instead, we went into a little Handy store nearby and treated ourselves with different sweets for the way back. Somewhere there, I took this photo. It was a perfect end to a great day of exploring!
Highlights from part of the 8 course tasting menu to end our honeymoon trip. Pretty good I would say. Love the buttermilk fried chicken with pine salt, Orkney scallop, sardine sashimi & warm potato mousse dessert. First time having mallard duck as well!
