I'm on a journey of self growth and I can say that knowing who you are is the beginning of mental freedom and self love. Do you agree? , are you too on the same journey? , have you thought of taking this journey? Comment below 👇🏾👇🏾#tgif
Quoi de beau de prévu ce WE ? Pour changer de la baignade pour vous rafraîchir pas loin de Lyon, je vous suggère les Grottes de la Balme, vous connaissez ?
Je vous en parle sur le blog... Happy week-end 😎
I woke up yesterday just feeling kinda....bleh. My alarm went off at the same time it does most days, and I felt like I was trying to pull myself out of a bed of molasses. I slowwwllly sat up, dragged my feet to the kitchen, made coffee and opened a book to do my quick 15 minutes of reading before getting started with the day.
But, my tiredness was holding on tight to me and I could recognize that feeling of burnt-outness. So I decided to take the whole day off; no emails, no writing, no editing, no social medias for work, no planning, no to-do lists, and a whole lot of nothing. And it was effing amazing. I watched about 10 episodes of Naked and Afraid, got some In N Out, did some reading, and basically became one with the couch.
What do your days off look like?
Flashback Friday- during our trip this summer we visited the Normandy coastline - Omaha Beach and Pointe du Hoc. You can see the cliff edges that would have been scaled to finally break through the enemy lines and miles of beachfront pockmarked by enormous bomb craters and cement bunkers. An experience I won’t soon forget. I love historical fiction books and just finished reading one about WWII in Italy. If anyone knows a good one that covers this portion of history, please let me know. #foxon4thsttravels#flashbackfriday
