A little moody and autumn-ish vibe.
Being an Instagrammer, I often have to give myself a little nudge. A nudge to remind myself that life isn’t always beautiful and controlled. That while I want to capture the beauty, often the what it is, is as important.
We often focus too much on the end result. The likes on an image, an A on an exam, an obedient child, the bonus pay, etc. And forget that the journey is as important, if not more so, than the end result.
The lessons, the connections, the people we meet and get to know along the way, and our growth as a human being are the things to hold on to.
I know, got a bit deep. It’s that kind of day ✨
One of my favorite things about Europe besides you know, being in foodie heaven around every corner, is how old and charming the buildings are. I imagine if these same cafes had the sound of conversations over cappuccinos and the sweet hum of different languages. If the horses trotted over the cobblestone and the smell of waffles lingered the air just the same 🎠 #visitbelgium
Late evening strolls through the cobbled lanes of Antwerp and stumbling upon cute corner like this 😍
This must be one of my favourite photos from Antwerp - a little gem in a quiet side alley and a lady who works there wearing the fanciest dress ever 💃🏻
Savitri and I had the best time in Belgium, but a few days was definitely not enough. We didn’t have time to see so many things and had waffles together just... once! ONCE! We have to go back, don’t we? 😛
The lovers bridge! .
Day 2 on our European road trip! #brugge .
Today we saw the city on boat trip, visited the famous sites & a few secret pubs testing the local beer & bar snacks! #adventuresofamyandjoe 💚
