Every Time I Die - Last Night In Town
Limited to 200 copies on Transparent Beer Inside/Forthy Creamy Head Outside
Finally own this wonderful album, the debut from Buffalo's finest, Every Time I Die. The album was actually produced by Killswitch Engage guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz and was released through Ferret Music on August 14, 2001. Guitarist Jordon Buckley describes the album as, "LNIT was just a chronological order of riffs.... If you listen to some of them it's just 50 riffs and none of them repeat and it's almost like what were we thinking?" So many great memories listening to this band and this album.

Happy Birthday to '60s teen idol Frankie Avalon, who turns 78 years old today! Frankie landed his first movie role in "Jamboree!" at the ripe age of 17, and continued to star in a slew of popular beach-themed teen films such as "Beach Blanket Bingo," "Muscle Beach Party," and "Pajama Party," often alongside fellow teen star Annette Funicello. He released a total of seven studio albums between the ages of 18 and 22, and had 13 Top 40 singles, including the number one hits "Venus" and "Why." Frankie's career was quieter throughout most of the '70s, only acting in a handful of television appearances and the Billy Dee Williams movie "The Take," before appearing in his famous "Grease" role as the Teen Angel. The part, which featured him performing the solo "Beauty School Dropout" in Frenchie's dream sequence, was originally turned down by Elvis Presley before it was offered to Avalon. His most recent role was in this year's film "Papa," which also featured former teen idol Ann-Margret (of "Bye Bye Birdie" fame), alongside more contemporary stars like Daryl Hannah, Eric Roberts, and Mischa Barton. You can find some Frankie Avalon singles and the Grease soundtrack on vinyl or 8-track in our eBay store: https://ebay.to/2MPGz9K

Beautiful color and grain on this cherry box top from the Modular Record Crate Console. The warm character of this wood only gets better as it develops a deep, rich tone over time.
Killer packaging (as always) on the new @thenumerogroup release “Basement Beehive: The Girl Group Underground”
