When you vacation are you a souvenir collector? Do you stick to any special souvenir? Postcards, t-shirts, spoons, hats?
I usually don’t visit gift shops on vacation, I’d rather find the thrift stores and antique shops, but I have a small souvenir mug collection at our summer cabin from places we have been. We use them every morning for tea or coffee. They are a fun reminder of vacations past.
**After an overnight resting stop in Missouri we are on our way to Flippin, Arkansas! .

S is for Stately Souvenirs, aka Ode to New England. I love souvenirs from the golden age of car travel - pennants, juice glasses & mugs, decorative plates, bumper stickers. And I love New England, the beautiful region where I’ve spent most of my life and through which I’ve travelled extensively. When I can I like to track down local antique stores and find vintage souvenirs from them. I’ve gathered quite a stash, and keep them all throughout the house to remind myself of pleasant holiday memories. #aliasalliterativeaugust
