Down on main st in #woodland - you’ll still see plenty of old goodies. Sometimes the sense of time travel is strong! But the gentrification is starting to creep in. A general feeling of “overhaul” is starting. Saddened to see a few previously photographed tucked away buildings are now razed and replaced. The previously abandoned car lot is now a thriving dealership. However, on the backside of Main Street, away from the “This is Derry” ambiance- is a pretty solid Tent City. Oh Woodland, what *are* you, anyway? 🤔✨#vintagesignage#oldtimemainstreet#historicalwoodland
I always enjoy finding local items on my travels and today was no exception! I have seen this sign many times and today was my lucky day. Due to refurbishments, it was no longer needed by the owner and I was lucky enough to be able to buy it. I only popped in for a drink, but left with this lovely big, double sided, light up sign which has a very decorative 3 piece bracket.
I also picked up a beautiful, Art Deco brass display case. It is extremely heavy and lights up. Both items will be refurbished and then available for sale.
