I just made the stupidest/smartest thing ever. A VISOR. I never ever ever would’ve pictured myself wearing one of these wackadoo hats, but I jog a lot and normal hats and ponytails don’t mix for me. I needed some sun protection and this vintage ‘73 pattern plus 60’s terrycloth worked. I’m now going to go overboard and make matching dorktastic jogging shorts so everyone can get an abs workout from laughing at me. #vintagevisor#vintagesewing#giantdork#sewcialists

Hello all. I started a @patreon this weekend, and I was wondering if you could help me out. I plan to release some videos on my sewing creations, with tutorials thrown in as well. But, I have my piddly cellphone camera. With your patronage, I can use what I have and work toward a small goal of getting a proper video camera. If you are able, id love it if you shared the link around and/or support. The link is in my profile. Thank you. -
Mentally making a note that sewing more jumpers is a must this fall 👗
Anyone else prepping for their fall and winter makes? Now that I live in actually cold place, I really need to get to work on making warmer clothes for myself!
It's that time of week I usually pull out some mending to do for #mondaymending . Buuuuuttt... I've been working on a pair 1920s trousers that I really want to finish!
So instead (as my mending pile is shrinking drastically anyway), I'm going to work on finishing these off instead!
I have just covered buttons to do for the side opening and hems to do! I'll show you the finished look tomorrow!
Do you love covered buttons as much as I do ❤? Too find out more about my #mondaymending mission check my highlights!! And don't forget to commit to it and tell me below what your mending was/will be!
Going to just dip in for the last part of #sewphotohop . This 60s simplicity pattern is my go to pattern for vintage shirts. No matter what I make, I keep coming back to this. #simplicitybyme#vintagesewing
