Highlights of the first day at #ibtmworld with #croatianwines I’m very happy to present this beautiful wines as follows
@vinalaguna Teran 2015 - expressing the breeze, minerality, lightness of Istria peninsula - from Italy to the north or Adriatic to the south- in such an elegant, fruit forward, subtle Teran from a great vintage of 2015!
🇭🇷 PP Orohovice - Silvanac Zeleni- eastern Croatia, bordered with river Drava in the north, and mountains Papuk and Krndiya northwest. The slopes on the foothills of the mountains are exposed to foggy mornings which is resulted by air movement coming from the river - excellent acidity supporting the high alcohol. Sustainable farming it is!
🇭🇷 Vina Moitošević - Alba Barrique Malvazija - back to Istria where the sun never stops shining ☺️ with this baby, malvazija standard aromatic profile is given a new life with previously used oak influenced aromas and well structured with aging potential.
To be continued.. 😉
Kako se osvežiti u pretoplim danima?
Najlakše uz predah i sigurno najbolju Malvaziju Festigiu 🥂
Kristalno čista, zelenkasto-žuta boja, karakteristične cvetno-voćne arome, na citruse, zelenu jabuku, tropsko voće, u ustima lagano i sveže, prepoznatljive slane mineralnosti, srednje dugog finog završetka.
Vina Laguna. Croatia’s largest winery at 300,000 cases. Built when Istra was part of Yugoslavia, Winemaker Milan Budinski said of the tanks and presses, “If you can imagine back to 1979, this was state of the art for the time.” #vinalaguna#istria#croatianwine
