Scoprite Venezia con i nostri consigli: con il pacchetto Discover Venice sarà tutto più semplice!
One of the characteristics of our city, the beloved #Venice , is to be broken into many, many islands scattered in the lagoon.
But the soul of the Venetians, and therefore also ours, here at the #Bauer Hotel, has always been that to "unite" and not to "divide". That's why we build #bridges .
That small white lines in the center of the picture is the Rialto Bridge, one of the masterpieces of Venice.
It is the symbol of our desire to join the world with the beauty of our city.
This is what we can do for you: we help you to join Venice. And once this magical bond is created, nothing can separate you.
Our great congratulations to @donquiellumbera_ for the breathtaking photo!

The Lion of Venise, well hidden in the coastal city of Akko (St Jean d'Acre) in Upper Galilee, Israel. Akko became the seat of the Crusader power after Jerusalem fell to Saladin in 1187. The city sheltered three Italian communities, often in trade competition in Europe. So each had their "comuna" (quarter) in Akko with big gates closing one from the other at night. Here is thr entrance gate of the Venetian comuna, marked by their well known lion as symbol of the city. Why a lion? Because the patron of the city was Mark the apostle who was given a lion as symbol (the 4 apostles had 4 symbols derived from the vision of Daniel the Biblical prophet)
