This is the OG, the first and last love, the basis for the entire company.
One might think that a passion for kimono's started with a passion for the Japanese culture and a natural evolution followed, not quite. The desire to take fashion back to a place of luxury and quality, where creations were desired and valued and passed down was where this all started.

There’s Throwback-Thursday, Flashback-Friday...is there such a thing as Wish-I-was-back-there-Wednesday? No? Too much? It’s OK, I’ll pretend it’s a thing 😊
Fire || It is our ally. An alchemical element that helps us transmute and clear from our lives what isn’t serving.
Over the years my connection to fire has grown stronger and stronger. Healing and transforming with fire is a part of my ancestral lineage, something I carried with me into this life. And even in this life I study alchemy and practice rituals with the elements.
Whenever I am a fire keeper, I enter into deep relationship with fire. I even have dreams of the fire I am keeping.
Fire is an entity, an energetically alive being. It’s a portal, a doorway for us to connect with spirit and the divine. Fire is our testimony, recording the events that take place too.
If you happen to be in Los Angeles tomorrow/Wednesday evening I am hosting a Fire Ritual for this Hunter’s Full Moon in Taurus at @ceremonymeditation. The evening will include guided chakra meditations, cathartic writing process, deep smudging, fire alchemy and activating new wisdom.
Dress warm as we will be in the Zen Garden. Bring something to write with and a journal if you wish to take notes. Also bring any items you’d like to charge on our collective altar. Plan to arrive 7:45PM to check in and get settled. Reserve in advance to save via my bio link. 🔥💙 #drnikkistarr#fire#ritual#ceremony#losangeles#ceremonymeditation
So I wanna go back venice beach

TUESDAY OCTOBER 23: If you feel overtired, scattered or notice that you’re flipping back and forth between options—You’re not ready to make a decision about something. Separating head and heart will not be easy to do right now because the differences won’t necessarily be that obvious. To work it out you’ll need to put some effort into it and most likely the process is going to take longer than you think it should. But the more you sift through the stuff, and the more you understand your personal connection to each thing, the more committed you’ll be to your final decision. Take your time with this, and be honest with yourself about how you feel. Whatever you’re working through deserves the time that it takes to figure out how to navigate from inside your heart. MEDIATION: Where is the motivation for this choice coming from? How much do I trust myself to make the choice that feels true? #thisissovereignty
I happened to turn on my TV this morning to hear @megyntoday discussing why American’s obesity “epidemic” continues to rise while people are exercising more than ever.... they discussed larger portion sizes and low access to healthy foods as contributers to the issue, and she quoted that around 90% of Americans are now obese... I couldn’t help to get upset by this conversation- first of all, because it’s adding to the weight stigma that plagues our society and health care systems, and then by missing the point that there is an issue in using BMI as an indicator of health (it does not tell us anything except a height to weight ratio), and encouraging her viewers to remain obsessed with dieting and weight loss. Diets do not work! Stigmatizing people in bigger bodies is more harmful to their health than being “overweight”! Until we accept that society’s body ideals are not achievable or healthy for most people and are contributing to disordered eating, stress, and depression, conversations like these are not helpful. .
