I totally ate a few extra pieces of toast with my new fav “everything but the bagel,” seasoning tonight and while I know I didn’t neeeed those extra pieces of toast, I’m choosing to give myself grace.
I think at one point or another, we all struggle with giving ourselves grace. Especially when we feel like (or do) we repeatedly make the same mistakes over and over again. I definitely feel that way sometimes.
When we choose, however, to just let God be God, and let Him give us grace, it’s amazing how your mind quickly shifts into a heart of gratitude and joy.
So if you ate a couple extra ______ today, let God give you grace. Let the grace that you are constantly given drive you to do better the next minute, the next day, the next year. Keep changing, keep working at what He has put into your life-but don’t you dare forget about g r a c e.
Yesterday the police of Armenia detained this musician from Ukraine who was drinking this same energetic drink (no alcohol) and playing indie music with his friends in the center of the city. There was no reason for dentention and the public was outraged by this action of the police! Today the citizens of Armenia and musicians stood up for his rights and turned the Northern avenue into a sight of a spontaneous music festival with various bands playing here and there and filling the air with the most.positive vibes!! The Chief of Police of Armenia came to see how the "artistic protest" was happening and also spoke with this guy, making sure that he is not offended (well, hmm) and confirmed that buskers are free to share their music in the streets of Yerevan until 11pm, if not going over a certain volume limit. There was a looovely atmosphere all along the boulevard, met all good friends who came to show their civic stand and also enjoy great music~
This is just... you know... Yerevan, YereLove ;) I'll post a video from the Musical Avenue shortly, there was too much amazingness to capture)
