Who else makes up their own meals despite what the recipe or method says?! ☝️Depending on my mood and how much time I have to cook before pickup I make up my meal and hope for the best that it works🤞🏻 I actually find this really fun as it feels more creative and for me that is something that makes me so happy! Sometimes cooking can feel like such another task to have to get done 😫... this way I feel more free. Lucky for me I feed my kids dinner when they come home from school and as they are famished they will eat whatever I put in front of them (well most of the time haha 🤣🤣🤪😂😂😂!)
I used to really try to accommodate too much everyone’s pallets in the family, because as long as they ate well I was happy....This or that child wasn’t a fan of this meal or that, I’d adjust.... but the longer I accommodated their fussy choices the fussier they got and the grumpier I got! So now I say calmly that’s there is nothing else to eat so I think you should eat it. To get around it I don’t make a big deal and just give them their meal when I know their starving. It’s working well so far... But I’m no expert and I know anything could change overnight! 😂 My aim is about me not making it harder for myself in the kitchen and my kids learning to eat things they wouldn’t normally that is actually so good for them. This is a veggie quiche with cheese, milk, ham and salami.
I grated everything threw it into the non stick dish with the flour and then poured over the whisked egg and milk. Proportions were not accurate... It turned out 👌
Don’t be afraid to go with your instinct when cooking. Don’t be afraid to try more things if your heart says yes do it. I bet you you will amaze yourself like I did tonight .

I also am so much more aware of how I put my meals together. Even when I do not have my nutritious shakes I make sure every meal has enough #veggies , compound carbs and #proteins . I make sure my #snacks are #balanced and that I still treat myself to something I enjoy. Like a Tiramisu on Sunday shared with @kohsukeban 😍⠀
I’m lucky that #dance keeps me fit, however this program got me to reach my #goals without too much trouble or having to go to the gym. ⠀

Drummets over wings anytime. If i am not braaing and doing oven cooking. 💯 Drummets are amazing in the oven.
Cooks quicker than wings. Guaranteed no slimy skin even without grilling. I have this paranoia about messy ovens. So grilling don't sit well with me.
Same time i will be scrubbing the entire oven.
So i have to find oven options that will grill my food with needing to remove foil.
And i found it with high oven temperatures. #crispychicken#veggies#cleaneating

We also busted a few myths regarding wholegrains:
1) Wholegrains are NOT more expensive than refined grains;
2) Wholegrains don't take much extra time to cook compared to refined grains (It may take an extra 4 mins-which is a tiny amount of time considering the benefits they provide)❤🙌🙂
