That really wasn’t a goal when Carolina came to me but getting stronger WAS and she has done just that💪🏼
Carolina did NOT want to focus on losing scale weight (she doesn’t even own a scale) .. she just wanted to be stronger, feel good about her body and “look like a bad ass”….YES!!! That is what I’m talking about folks!!! Shifting the focus from SCALE weight because it NEVER tells the entire story 🙌🏼
25+ sessions in with me and she is already crushing HER goals. Anxious to see where her body and mind is after 25 more! Ya’ll show her some love in the comments ❤️
Let’s take bets .. how many push ups with me on her back will she be able to do then? I probably should add that I’ll likely be a few pounds heavier since I’ve entered improvement season, lol! For everyone that ALWAYS asks me …2-5 pounds is a rough guesstimate of how much “weight” I usually “gain” once I am totally out of prep and reversed 👍🏼

😮 As of today my sumo is stronger than my conventional. 😲
Thank you @ironlife.freedom for this kickass program that pushes my body like nothing I’ve experienced before. 🙏🏽🙌🏽😍🤢☠️🤗 I’ve never pulled more than 286 doing sumo, my conventional PR is 319, and my best triple conventional was 286.
AND THEEENNNN....I did a 4x10 at 242lbs. Then front squats, and accessories until I thought I’d die. 😵
I’m struggling less with getting food in my body now that I feel like I’m actually doing some work, and it’s easier for me to make clean choices with seeing how much better my body performs with cleaner fuel.
These deadlifts were brought to you by an English muffin with peanut butter and a strawberry rockin refuel. I need to get some powder protein bad, for now I’m loving those strawberry premixed shakes.
Grateful for the words of encouragement lately. Food and aesthetics still fuck with my head, trying to keep in mind that food is fuel for lifts and being strong as fuck is my priority.

Damian is on vacation so I took him to @signature.strength.gym to get some bonding time in, and because we haven’t worked out at a gym together since moving to the west coast. 😔
He did the rower 🛶and some ab circuits while I did some back stuff, then he came downstairs and finished my back day with me. 💪🏽 When he was doing lat pull downs I noticed a significant imbalance even at light weight, by then end of 4 sets he was starting to hurt, so I suggested we stop. 🤔🛑
On the way out the gym owner @rachaelpecoraro asked us how our workout was and I mentioned why we were leaving.
First she offered my child her office and couch so I could finish my accessories, which turned into me talking about his imbalance, which led to us feeling his back, and before I knew it Damian was getting a thorough massage, targeting the massive knot he had hiding behind his scapula that only Rachel was able to find. 😱🙏🏽👏🏽❤️
My son is a high functioning autistic child that really doesn’t like being touched. This first picture is huge. 😮😲
She felt his back when he was standing, asked him each time before touching him, and ultimately he trusted her to the point where he was laying face down, breathing calmly.
