A small @wholefoodsgreenville haul! @foragerproject cashewgurt! @living_kitchen @living_kitchen_cookiebites chocolate chip cookie bites! These things are super good. Tried this amazing @drinkethans MCT shot...its sooo yummy. @califiafarms organic almond milk and 3 organic peaches! Love me some peaches especially when they are sweet. I've been limited in travel (food shopping/gym) due to inclement weather(snow storm) here in the upstate of South Carolina and I work in healthcare so of course work is always mandatory. Lots of power outages and incidents but thankfully no fatalities! Wishing everyone a good and safe night and hoping everyone else is experiencing better weather than we are! #whatkaylaeatsinaday

🎄CHRISTMAS CRANBERRY CUPCAKES 🎄
Whether your interested in more eating more #plantbased food or are already #vegan you have to check out @bosh.tv 🙏 where the food looks so tasty it inspires you to cook and the #veganrecipes are easy to understand!
For the cupcakes:
🔸️90gms plain flour
🔸️90gms whole wheat flour
🔸️50gms brown sugar 🔸️100gms white sugar
🔸️1/2 tsp salt
🔸️2 tsp baking powder
🔸️70mls coconut oil (melted)
🔸️1 ripe banana (mashed)
🔸️125mls plant based mylk
🔸️50gms dried cranberries
For the pecan frosting:
🔹️30gms pecans toasted
🔹️60gms dairy free butter
🔹️1 Tbsp plant based mylk
🔹️1 Tbsp maple syrup
🔹️450gms icing sugar
Preheat oven to 200 Degrees Celsius | Line a muffin tin with cupcake cases | Put all dry ingredients in a bowl and mix with a fork | Add wet ingredients to the bowl (minus blueberries & cranberries) and fold through | Then fold through blueberries and cranberries | Place mixture into 12 cupcake cases | Cook for 20 mins |
The frosting part of the recipe calls for the pecans to heated in the oven for 7-8 minutes. Then blend the pecans until it forms more of a powder and add the remaining ingredients. I had no pecans left so i used all walnuts which i toasted the same and it worked really nicely. ✔ I also ran out of icing sugar and only used about 200gms so the frosting isn't as grand looking but the taste is still there minus half the sugar. These also work well as muffins if you dont have the frosting. Hope you enjoy! .
Don't let something that is only a part of you define who you are.
The truth of the matter is, I am so much more than my social media.
I aim to help others, to provide the most I can, to show up and get others through what they are going through.
However, while helping others with their mindset is what I aim to do with my time on social media, it isn't what my biggest business goal is.
Since I am in this limbo between putting the work in and achieving my goal, I have invested myself massively into this space.
With that being said, I may be a little down and a little short from time to time.
I am human. I have ups and downs. And while part of me wants to provide high energy motivational shit all the time, it may not happen.
But I will still do what I can because I still believe that I can provide value to you while I go through the shit to make my goals a reality.
My hope is that you are on your way to making your goals a reality as well.
Onward and upward.
Today I made the most decadent, nourishing, Yogi Fuel AF hot chocolate.
And it’s obviously so easy to make because... I’m lazy.
@wanderingmat has inspired me to be all about the spices since the day we met, and since I’ve been studying Ayurveda, I’m finally hopping on board!
Spices support our digestive system, our immune system, and are super tasty... but they also have an effect on our subtle body! -
Cinnamon, and ginger are warming spices which are perfect for the winter, and they are so delicious in this hot cocoa.
So here’s what you need:
1 can full fat coconut milk
1/2 cup water (more if you don’t want it super creamy)
3 tbsp cocoa powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp ginger
1/4 tsp cardamom (optional)
1/2 tsp Ashwagandha or Shatavari (optional)
1 tbsp maple syrup (more or less to taste)
In a pan over medium heat, warm up the milk and water. Then, toss everything into a blender, and blend until smoooooth. Taste, and adjust sweetness, spices and cocoa as needed! -
I like things to taste dark chocolatey, and three scoops of cocoa was pretty decadent. -
And... If you wanna make this SUPER YOGI FUEL, just add a scoop of @profiprohealth Chocolate protein to the mix 👌🏼
So good. So good for your bod and your practice. Go make this ASAP.

A nice little Buddha bowl made with shredded carrots, massaged kale, onion, diced tomatoes, tamari sunflower seeds, lentils and I’m about 99% sure there’s some sort of grain under there 😂
Two things I have to mention about this post
1. These lentils are one of my favourite store bought items ever!! I don’t know how @traderjoes does it but I’m already looking forward to going over the border to pick a million packs up for over the Christmas vacation. They’re so easy, perfectly cooked and must have some sort of magic flavouring added to them. It doesn’t say exactly what’s in it on the ingredients so I guess the mystery lives on 😩 #tellmeyoursecrets
2. Go to choices right now and get yourself some tamari sunflower seeds. They’re the best you can’t argue me on this. Perfect anything topping. Also on the theme of tamari, Costco sells really delicious tamari almonds too
TRIGGER WARNING: I talk about things pertaining to disordered eating.
Last night I binged. I ate so much I felt like I would pop, then I’d do it again 30 mins later. I couldn’t even sleep properly. I had acid reflux and felt so bloated that I had to lay at an incline. I felt horrible, out of control, then I felt awful and ashamed.
I haven’t had a binge eating episode in a long time. In the past when I’d have an episode, I would feel bad for myself, self-shame, and get stuck in the cycle. These days, I seek a healthier response. I’ve let my life get messy and the stress triggered me, so I cleaned it up! I got up, drank a bunch of water, went for a nice walk with my dog, went out to buy a planner to organize my life, fasted for the day, and deeply cleaned and rearranged my room.
Now I can sit down at my clean desk and start using my planner to get things in order. I feel really good! Tomorrow I’ll be eating as much as I want of whole plant food. Nothing processed and dense in nutrients. These episodes are our minds way of trying to cope. It’s a call for help. I’ve discovered that when I respond with compassion inwardly and do what IS in my power, plus healthy food, I break the cycle.
This is an area of my life I don’t talk much about. It’s something I’m still a bit insecure about, but I’m not gonna stay silent anymore. There’s nothing to be ashamed of here and I hope that by posting this, others can feel empowered to talk about it too. 💗
100% Vegan Suit!
It took weeks to narrow down & find a decent quality suit that was not insanely expensive, fit well, & was completely free of of animal products. Big things I had to avoid were wool, silk, leather, cashmere, & horse hair. Mostly trying to find man-made materials & alternatives such as polyester, faux leather, & cotton. This took quite a bit of online resources, shopping around, & painstakingly checking labels/fabrics/materials.
I want to thank @moodiees for her huge help in all of this & to @mooshoesla for being an amazing vegan shoe store & resource, making things much easier for vegan shoe shopping. Terrible photo & lighting, but surely I'll have something better after this weekend's holiday party.
If anyone needs any advice or has any questions, feel free to comment or DM me. Glad to help!

my first three animal designs; a dog cuz they’re my fav duh, a pig because piggies are just like puppies, and a cow because of Gentle, the first cow I ever laid eyes on from Big Sky Animal Sanctuary [2018 sponsors]. the day I met Gentle I knew; they suffer more then the eye meets. she came from a dairy cow and now lives peacefully on a heaven, yet there was still sadness in her eyes. you could tell she enjoyed her life, basking in the sun, rolling in the grass, stretching her long legs. she’d tilt her head way high at the slightest gust of wind, inhaling the fresh air, yet she looked at you as if something is missing. like shes never forgotten. all the little ones she’s had over the years, never for her to see again. for that sacred milk. milk intended for their babies. the ones they carry for 9 months. when I saw Gentle for the first time I knew. she had to be drawn. these shirts represent the love and tenderness we should always have towards animals, as they are here with us, not for us. wether vegan or not, you can show your love and support for animals with theses super cute Tees.
I did my first cube of truth today [see stories but warning its a lil graphic] and it brought me back to footage I haven’t seen in over three years. footage I can’t watch to this day. footage I never knew happened until I saw a glipse. footage so horrific, most turn away. footage that made me the vegan I am today. it’s unbearable knowing what animals have [and continue to] endure at the hands of humans. some say it’s a good reminder to see the videos but I say its a push to keep fighting. keep talking about veganism. keep endorsing plant based. have your opinions heard and known. start the conversation. we are their voice. the only voice they have had this far. we are no where near the end and we’ve got a lonnnng ways to go but keep fighting. for them. for the voiceless. when I see thoses videos [although my heart is broken] my chin is high, knowing I am fighting this injustice. animals are getting used, mistreated, beatten, ripped from their mothers, neglected, abused, and ultimately killed. for what.. a taste, because it’s the norm, because of culture, because of lack of knowledge? whatever the case may be, change is here, and it starts with activists. it starts with things like the cube of truth. if you’re newly vegan- join local groups, go to events, meet like minded people that will support your decision. heck start up your own if there are none. it only takes one person to start a ripple and next thing you know you got yourself a wave of change. because if it was me, I’d want somebody to fight for my voice. and never give up.
