Mediterranean Fasolada soup... I followed her recipe but also tweaked it with cabbage and dried shitaki mushrooms as a garnish. Delicious and so comforting on this rainy Saturday evening.

Hope this helps some of you, someone had this question today. ▶️ ⭐️Purslane has the highest level of alpha-linolenic which is an omega 3 fatty acid essential for human nutrition compared to any leafy green vegetable. ⭐️Irish moss is rich in Omega-3 fatty acids and chlorophyll, as well as other natural anti- inflammatory compounds. ⭐️Walnuts contain a plant-based, omega-3 fatty acid called alpha-linolenic acid, or ALA. According to California Walnuts, walnuts are the only nut that is a significant source of ALA, which is an essential fatty acid, meaning that your body cannot synthesize it, so it must be consumed in the diet.
⭐️ Hemp seed serves as a source of better, perfectly balanced ratio of omegas and more sustainable omega 3, 6 & 9 nutrition than alternatives like fish omega supplements. ⭐️While watercress contains useful vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients, such as vitamin C, folate and antioxidants, it also contains a relatively high proportion of omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs), mainly in the form of alpha-linolenic acid.
⭐️ While garbanzo beans are not a fatty food, they do contain valuable amounts of polyunsaturated fatty acids, including alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), the body's omega-3 fatty acid from which all other omega-3 fats are made. ⭐️ Sage improved attentiveness and concentration. Contains an omega 3 omega 6 ratio of 1:3 in favor of omega 3. ⭐️ Mangoes contain some omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. ⭐️ Hemp oil - While flaxseed oil contains a higher level of Omega 3 than hemp oil, it does not come in the ideal ratio of Omega 6 to Omega 3. The Omega 3 in flaxseed oil is exclusively ALA (the short-chain fatty acids). Flaxseed oil does not contain any SDA - the more potent form of Omega 3 found in hemp oil. _______________________________________________________#drsebian#drsebi#food#healer#naturalremedy#herbs#minerals#nature#wakeup#toxins#herbalmedicine#fasting#intermittentfasting#organic#alkalinevegan#vegan#rawvegan#electricfoods#alkalineliving#plantbased#meditation#alkalineveganrecipes#veganrecipes#detox#veganfood#alkalinefood#alkalinediet#drsebirecipes#fastingtips
Mediterranean rolls with smoky red bean hummus by @amelietahiti. Ingredients:
1 can of red bean (rinsed, drained)
1 dollop of tahini
Half a lemon juice
dash of water
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp smoked paprika
1/4 cup colored peppers
2 cloves of roasted garlic in olive oil - 1 if not too font of garlic. (add a tsp olive oil if you don’t use garlic)
Take a clove of garlic and cut off the top with a knife. Drizzle olive oil on top, wrap in foil and cook 10 minutes at 180°C in the oven.
For the hummus start blitzing beans, tahini and spices together, then add remaining ingredients. Adjust water if needed.
For the rolls, dip each paper in warm water a few seconds until it get softs. Then lay on a clean surface and start adding all the fillings. I like to start with lettuce because it nicely tighten everything. Wrap the paper over the ingredients, then fold at the sides and keep on rollin’ 😎. Finally dip your rolls in remaining hummus.

So apparently you CAN have too many bananas in your freezer... 🙄🍌 SooOo, we made some Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins (recipe on my site) and they really hit the spot today😋 My original recipe has coconut oil, but I tried using almond butter and a little plant based milk and they turned out great!! Even better when they are smeared with more almond butter while they are still warm 😍
Perfectly weather for a warming bowl of oats on a lazy Sunday morning 🍌🥥❄️ Cinnamon and Maca oats topped with banana, dates, coconut flakes, cacao nibs, almond butter and a drizzle of agave. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I used @navawholefoods maca powder for this bowl. Maca is actually a plant native to Peru and has an earthy and slightly nutty taste to it. It can be used in many things like smoothies, oats, protein balls etc.. Maca also has some great health benefits to it. It is a good source of carbs, protein and fibre, low in fat and is high in essential vitamins and minerals such as vitamin C, copper and iron as well as containing eight essential amino acids. Studies have shown that the use of maca powder can help improve your mood and reduce anxiety as well as balancing hormones. It’s great for increasing strength and boosting energy. It has also been linked to increased fertility in men and women. It’s a great little superfood and I highly recommend trying it out. 🌱
super simple afternoon snack that costed like 75 cents to make. 🍌 #nicecream with oats & hemp seeds soaked in almond+cashew milk as the base, blended with 3 frozen bananas. Usually I use maple syrup but these bananas were so ripe it wasn’t necessary. There is also #reishi powder blended in for an extra boost. Topped with chia seeds and fresh raspberries #veganrecipes
Being in Japan recently and not being able to eat much of the food was such a pain in my heart 💔
We are so lucky to have such yummy VEGAN Japanese food available here in Melbourne... but I really do love cooking so I had a go and got it just the way I like it! Honestly I'm not a big curry fan, but I love love love Japanese curry! It captures the idea of curry but carries a lighter less pungent perspective that is just right for me! I kept this dish very Japanese making Shiitake mushroom the star of the show... talk about perfection 😋🍛
I'll be back @chiroeasewellnessstudio tomorrow SUNDAY to sweat out the weeks stresses with a steamy Hot Vinyasa back to back at 8:30am & again at 9:45am, step into the flow zone 🙏🏾🕉
Mango, blueberry, banana, pineapple, coconut water, hemp protein and maca VEGAN smoothie bowl 🍌🍍
Topped with chia, amaranth, pistachio, coconut, flaxseed and fresh blueberries... this mornings breakfast has my body prepared for an active sunny winters day! I'm not the biggest fan of eating anything sweet for breaky, but the amount of goodness you can pack into one of these easy to prepare bowls is hard to go past! My eyes honestly feast on the colours alone 🌈👅
Coming home to my friends and loved ones has been such a heart warming delight! But boy do I love coming home to my kitchen 😋💕
I love experimenting according to my taste buds desires! I wanted to make a zesty zingy soup (to ease my body back into winter) that felt herbal/medicinal, whilst packed with green fresh veggies. So I made a VEGAN tamarind and ginger soup inspired by the Filipino favourite "sinigang", filled it with some fresh rice noodles, broccoli, green beans, Bok choy and white radish! Seasoned with some fresh lemon juice, grated fresh ginger, fried scallions and chillis to serve! SARAP 👅💗
