A study shows that ginger may also be an effective pain reliever for sore muscles. Ginger has been a favorite remedy of Chinese medicine for centuries and is often used to treat nausea and upset stomach. Two studies done at Georgia College and State University in 2010 looked at how ginger affected muscle pain and inflammation after exercise. One experiment had subjects supplement with 2g of ginger for several days and perform curls in the gym. The next day, their soreness was significantly less than expected. The other study also examined the effects of 2g of ginger on arm training. Participants consumed ginger 24 hours and 48 hours after exercise, and the pain was reduced 13% by the second day.

Sweet & sour tofu. 😋 Sweet n sour sauce+tofu+bell peppers+brown rice
Tofu is super bland, which is great because it soaks up all the flavor you make! The best thing to do is to marinade the tofu for a few hours like you would chicken. Besides, who eats plain chicken? It’s all about the seasonings babes. I like my tofu super done and crispy, as you can see. I also added a little vegan butter to the rice. 🤙🏻
Now that it’s winter it feels like stir fry season again! I made myself one for dinner tonight by frying some onion, garlic and fresh ginger in a splosh of toasted sesame oil, then I added carrot ribbons, defrosted frozen soya beans and peas, and mushrooms. I let those cook for a few minutes then added my seasonings: soy sauce, Henderson’s relish, mushroom ketchup, ground ginger, ground black pepper, and a squeeze of sriracha. After stirring that in I added my wholegrain vermicelli noodles as well as a small handful of chopped cashews then cooked for a few more minutes. I served it with a sprinkle of sesame seeds and it was delicious, it made a huge portion though! This is a decent size bowl and it was full right to the brim. #properportions 🌱✨
How To Prepare Lollo Bionda?😕
1.Remove any of the older outer leaves.🌾
2.Trim off the base (and roots) and wash leaves well. 3.Remove as many leaves as you need and keep the rest intact for later.😃
4.Put leaves into a salad spinner or wrap up in a towel to get rid of excess moisture. 👌
5.Use whole leaves in rolls and sandwiches or tear the leaves into bite size pieces and use as required.

As i once mentioned in one of my posts, veganism is just perfect for you if you do calisthenics. As you might know, skills like the straddle planche require a very high training frequency to master them. By just eating plants and stop consuming these high proinflammatory "foods" like meat, dairy and eggs, you will recover MUCH faster and this will allow you to train more often. Try it for your self! You have nothing to lose, you can just learn!

I hope it spreads to other cities soon! There is only one taco in the picture because my lovely wife @sharitosd ate the other two before I could get my camera 😂😂.

Tonight I roasted some tomatoes I had that needed using up because I couldn’t think what else to do with them and always feel guilty throwing out food. I roasted them at about 200 degrees with olive oil and sea salt for probably half an hour before turning the heat right down while I picked Toby up from nursery. They had over an hour altogether. 🙂
I also cooked the meat-free meatballs (Sainsbury’s own) on a low heat for longer too. So it was all ready to just pile on up of some aubergine pesto pasta, topped with grated @kokodairyfree cheese and balsamic vinegar glaze. 😍 Really yum!
