You can never have enough pizza right? 🍕 •
Unfortunately I didn’t get the go to multiple vegan places like I had hoped on my day trip to Philly. Plus, I was with my mom and sister who aren’t vegan so I don’t like forcing them to eat all vegan (even tho it would be a good thing). So, I found this place, Ed’s Wings and Pizza. They have normal pizza by the pie or slice (which my family said was delicious) and thankfully they have a vegan slice and vegan pies, as well as a vegan wrap but I just opted for the slice. I also got a size of fries 🍟 •
I believe the cheese on the pizza is Daiya, I know a lot of people don’t like that cheese but I don’t mind it too much, I’m just glad this place didn’t charge extra for vegan cheese like most places do. •
That was an amazing dinner, even if I do say so myself. No need to spend a fortune on those crispy White rabbit vegan pizzas from Waitrose (blurgh) when you can make your own in moments.
One of these beauties had @eat_oumph kebab, pepperdew and baby lettuce leaves on it, the other had mushrooms and Oumph chunks. I made the cheese myself which took a little bit of time but it was worth it. 🍕🍄🥗

An unconventional toast to Tuesday 🌱
@cleaneatsbytay and @starinfinitefood (and many others) always make the best sweet potato toasts and I’ve been obsessed lately thanks to them 🙌🏻
To make these: cut a sweet potato (in this case I used Japanese) into about 1/4 inch slices and toast in your toaster until cooked all the way through. Every toaster will be different, I usually put mine on the highest setting and let it cycle through about 3 times before it’s done. You could probably do this in the oven too, I haven’t tried it that way, but if you do, LMK how it goes!
I topped one with roasted red pepper hummus, avo, tomatoes, and everything bagel seasoning, and the other with almond butter, raspberry chia jam, banana, berries, and a bit of @engine2diet granola 🙌🏻

When you go to the city and orange peppers are 3/$1 and Cauliflower is $1 a head, your fate is pretty much sealed. Black Bean and Rice Stuffed Peppers with Onions, Tomatoes, Celery, and Vegan cheese. Roasted Cauliflower with Thyme and Sage.

Vegan pizza😋 first time I cooked a pizza, and it wasn’t that bad😅. Also I’m doing a experiment to see how much lean muscle I’ll be able to preserve during my cut. This is because there’s this myth that you need 1g of protein for I lb of body weight.
There have been studies performed which suggested that it’s far too much, both for regular people and athletes.
What I recommend is 0.7/8g of protein per lb of lean body mass, and even this is a bit too much, but should be more manageable for your body😉
