Gerçekten dehşet verici derecede her şeyi gözler önüne seren harika bi belgesel. Türcülüğe karşı olan belgesel, eğlenceden bilime gıdadan giyime her konuya çok güzel parmak bazıyor. İzlemesi çok can yaksa da lütfen izleyin.
İzleyin hep birlikte konuşalım 🌱🌻🦋🌸🌞🐮
So. This is a bit of a PSA. I saw my GP this morning for some respiratory stuff which is unrelated, however I’ve recently had a blood test from @thrivahealth and interestingly I’ve been vegan for almost 3 years, I don’t take any supplements (apart from evening primrose oil) and she was literally gobsmacked that I am not basically deficient and dying from lack of vitamin D and b12. Both are absolutely fine. She genuinely believes the only sources of these are from animal products. If that does not properly demonstrate how deeply ingrained the utter shit perpetuated by the animal agriculture industry is into our society then I don’t know what is. What a sad state of affairs. (Side note I’ve got some vouchers for a large chunk off of these private health screening kits so if you want one send me a message!) #vegansofbristol#bristoligers#veganmovement#goveganandnobodygetshurt#veganhealth

When we think of language we think of human verbal communication. But in this we are missing a world of communication that happens beyond speech and between species.
Look into an animal’s eyes and see their story, watch as they express their inner world and describe their emotions. Let your heart connect with theirs and your souls speak lovingly to one other.
Look into the eyes of an animal encased in suffering. You cannot tell me their turmoil isn’t communicated. Their agony not portrayed through their soulful eyes. Their tears speak a thousand words, their dread shown through every glance. Fear pouring from the depths of them.
Look upon the suffering of animals not as a bystander but as someone who sees their truth. Witnesses their reality. As someone who notices them for who they are and what they see. Let them show you images as through their eyes. Now act as though you and they are one. Because in this communication grows empathy and in this space you are not separate.
“An animal’s eyes have the power to speak a great language.”
– Martin Buber
I’m sorry you had to suffer so much in your short life.
I’m sorry you had to die.
All I could do is be there for you and show you some love on your last day on earth.
I took this picture to share it with the world and let them know what I feel about your death.
It won’t bring you back.
It won’t bring back thousands and thousands of your brothers and sisters that where murdered during our days at the #animaljusticecamp2018
I just want you to know that I will fight for your future generations. I will make sure that they can be free and safe.
Your death was completely unnecessary- but it wasn’t meaningless, not for me. Rest In Peace, my friend. You won’t be forgotten.
A few hours with @joelizabethmelia and endless dandelion tea has sorted my mind and body out. Feeling inspired and cleansed. You might need to contact Jo for her energising company, but I can certainly help with the cleanse. Dandelion tea has astonishing health benefits. It’s used as a diuretic that stimulates the liver and gall bladder to clear waste products from the body. It targets gut inflammation and toxicity, helping skin conditions like eczema and arthritis. Forage a good handful of dandelion heads/leaves and put into a teapot, along with 6 lemon balm leaves, 6 mint leaves and leave to stew for 5 minutes. In a cup, add a drizzle of maple syrup and a slice of lemon, then pour the tea through a strainer *vegan chocolate cake recipe by @ainecarlin #flashyourvits
" Once you discover the irresistible magic of Eating Clean you can't help but share it with everyone." ~ Tosca Reno
I have been reading a lot on veganism, eating clean and healthy, to get rid of all the extra weight that i carry alongside leaving a minimum impact on the environment by eating responsibly. .
I gave up chicken a year back, eggs 5 months back ( though I still end up consuming it sometimes through cake, croissant etc- just needs me to be more mindful when I choose to eat) and reduced my intake of dairy products about 3 months back making it almost zero in the last few days, switching over to Soya Milk, paneer etc.( I still need to find an alternative to the ghee that I use to cook common meals for all 3 of us 😒).
Honestly it isn't difficult to make these decisions or food choices I would say, when you know and are aware of the impact you are creating on the environment just by eating wrong. I am somehwhere quite messed in my head since many months and getting there slowly as I become more aware. .
Iwould certainly confess, that I still consumed fish and prawns a month back when I was in India. I don't know how soon, will I give up on them too. I am not a Vegan yet, but I choose to eat responsibly and mindfully as much as I can. And it has been a great journey and an amazing feeling so far.
Today marks Day-1 of my new way of eating - " Intermittent Fasting" . Those of you follow me on Instagram would know, how closely I follow " The Minimalists" and I am very much influenced by everything that they do. So I stumbled upon this concept of fasting on their website, and decided to take this up as a challenge for myself. Wish me luck 🙂🙂.
