Vegan food festivals have become one of my favourite places to go. It’s a place where people can celebrate equality of everyone (including animals) with food. This is why we love that we can also share this experience with our wonderful dog, Madden.
#Repost vegan OPTIONS alert!!! ・・・
DENVER - FYI Colorado Friends! Comment and photos from a friend! “Do I love supporting vegan businesses? Yep, but I also go to restaurants that have vegan options even though they also serve animals.
Goed Zuur has amazing marinated olives, a vegan cheese plate, cashew kale caeser salad with Brussels sprouts & cherry tomatoes. I didn’t get a chance to try the cast iron vegan dish or dessert since I was full on delicious sour beers.
They have special vegan cookware that they use.
It’s located on 2801 Welton Street Goed Zuur”
Wee tub of Snax Superfood Curry. First time I've tried this and I really enjoyed it. There is rice in there too below the curry. Perfect to brighten up a dull Tuesday afternoon 😀 Definitely recommend for those in #Belfast - This is also gluten free according to the menu.
What humans have done is nothing short of monsterous to say the least to the animals were suppose to share this planet with. Every single 24 hours well over 100 species some say over 200 a day... are wiped off the face of the earth , become extinct . When will humans wake up and start to drastically realize this must stop . We needs the animals and all life that's on this planet for the balance of the earth we live on, suppose to share with them.
Had the best day with Adam and Sarah of @sarahandthebearadventures testing out the Limited Slip Diff and General Grabber tyres on my 2wd westy. The video doesn’t quite show how steep and slippy this climb was. We had some trouble at first but airing down to about 15psi got us straight up! I’m amazed at what this set up can do and can’t wait to test it further. It’s never going to be a syncro, but for a fraction of the cost I can still get off the beaten track and that’s what it’s all about.
"Vegan Noodles" from @veryfreshnoodles in @chelseamarketny .
Intense flavor! I’d rec this to any fan of Sichuan peppercorn (the tingly numbing tongue sensation). I’m not and prefer their Dan Dan Mian noodles, but that is solely personal preference. This is a high quality dish. The mock dock and veggies were tasty & tender, and the hand pulled noodles were perfectly chewy.
Ingredients: biangbiang noodles, shiitakes, mock duck, and bok choy in mushroom broth seasoned w shaoxing wine, black vinegar, cumin, sichuan pcorns, chili oil, pickled mustard greens, fresh herbs.
I have a litmus test to determine if I'm doing something for my ego or from a higher place of pure joy and self satisfaction. Whether I'm doing tricks on a wave 🌊, seeing how many pull ups I can do 💪, writing music 🎶 📝, or anything...I ask myself 'If no one was watching or I was the only human left on Earth 🌏🍃 would I be doing this?' If the answer is “No” then maybe I should stop.🤚🙅🏻♂️
I can't wait for our next @anonymousforthevoiceless cube demonstration this coming Sunday!
If you live in the Tri-Cities area and would like to volunteer a few hours of your time, please reach out to me! We'd be so happy to have you be apart of this amazing public demonstration! 📷: @natanfru ❤️🙏🏼
So many of us look in the mirror every day and don’t like the reflection starring back at us. We compare ourselves to others and to what we believe the world finds attractive and desirable.
The main reason we don’t like what we see in the mirror is because we have forgotten a very important fact. A fact so simple that in all our searching for something that will make us more attractive or more like others, we miss it.
We miss it because we’re seeking outside ourselves, seeking approval, seeking ways to change things about ourselves.
The reality is that the validation we seek can only come from within ourselves. The fact that we need to embrace is that we are all unique, one of a kind. That’s the truth of the matter.
Trying to be someone other than ourselves makes us miserable. Never happy, never free to enjoy this very moment.
Imagine the freedom of truly loving yourself, of looking in the mirror and loving what you see. To no longer care what everyone else thinks. To know without a doubt that you are beautiful in a way no one else can be.
Fortunately we don’t have to settle for just imagining it, we can start right now, to reprogram our minds to see and love our one of a kind-ness.
We can remind ourselves as often as we need to, that it doesn’t matter what other people look like, or how they act, or what they believe. We are who we are and we can accept that unapologetically.
One the most attractive qualities in a person is self confidence. When we see someone who’s truly comfortable in their skin, we can’t help but admire that, because that’s what we all want.
By falling in love with ourselves, truly liking how we look and walking around in this world with confidence will attract so much more goodness and many more people into our lives.
In a world so full of fakes there’s nothing more refreshing than seeing someone who’s real and more importantly someone who accepts themselves as they are without comparison.
Next time you look in the mirror, I want you to smile, focus on how special you are. Look at your reflection and say “I fucking love you”
You were born unique, don’t die a copy!!!!
