‼️NEW PR: 55kg, done without support on my shoulders.
This is actually super new to me. I never thought I would be able to do squats because of the situation with my shoulder. It is not easy to see here, but I have to be careful anyway with the barbell. But the fact that I managed to increase the weight without really hurting my shoulder is awesome 🙌🏼 My teqhnique is improving as well! 📽: 55kg, 5 reps without pillow, first try. *
It's been a busy weekend 😴 Yesterday I went to Muay Thai training and it was so much fun! But tiring. I'm already falling in love with that sport. Yesterday and today I've done a lot of school work and actually got a lot done (didn't procrastinate) and now I can finally chill a bit and drink some tea proper grandma style. You truly learn to appreciate the downtime when you don't have it much. It just feels so much more special and important.

I have had a really productive day of cooking, cleaning, baking, washing and working! It may sound boring but I actually love getting myself ready and organised for the week ahead. My goals this week are to include cardio into my cut each day and make sure I’m on point with my eating! 6 weeks left 🙈

Vegan Pumpkin Pancakes!! I used @birchbenders classic pancake mix (not all of their pancake mixes are vegan) and added pumpkin purée, cinnamon, and pecan pieces. Sautéed some veggies and of course there’s a hash brown and a meatless breakfast patty 😂
I’ve traveled that much over the past few months that I’ve now had every vegan dish @leonrestaurants have to offer 😅🤦🏼♀️ If you haven’t tried @leonrestaurants yet there super convenient when your on the go, not badly priced and basically just a healthier fast food chain who have good vegan options 👌🏼 Here have there Vegan Sweet Potato Falafel Hot Box with coffee of course 😅

Tried an Indian spot in Fuquay-Varina today called Zeera! Love it when places actually spell out VEGAN on the menu!
So today we tried:
1. Gobi Manchurian: Batter coated deep fried cauliflower florets.
2. Aloo Paratha: Whole wheat bread stuffed with potatoes, lightly spiced.
3. Aloo Gobi: Potatoes, cauliflower and green peas cooked in a tomato and onion base sauce.
4. Bhindi Do-Paiza: Cut okra sautéed and cooked with tomato, onion and spices.
So tasty. Will come back!
Our vigil with @lasvegasanimalsave was yesterday morning but unfortunately we weren’t able to go up to the truck this time, so I have no new photos and I feel like I contributed nothing 😞

Lunch from yesterday 🤩🤩 a bed filled with super greens; topped with sprouts, pickled red onions & pickled carrots/ cucumbers, roasted sweet potatoes, avocado & lemon garlic tempeh. Tempeh is my go too lately for that good protein 😍. I also drizzled some Italian dressing on top! Hope everyone is having a great Sunday!! On this lazy day today I started my morning slow with some sunto wake me up☀ before, I had oatmeal blasting with berrieful compote with a cup of my favroate honey lemon tea. 😩 Made with oats, almond milk, frozen berries & brown sugar on the stove until creamy. Topped with PB🤗. Woke up feeling refreshed by having citric acid to help fight against my allergy symptoms to feel energized again.🙃 Right after I finished cleaning my house with some chores and changed the view of my whole room setting. Now that is complete I feel so much better🙂

with the first exercise, you want to aim to keep your back as flat on the ground as possible, because if you allow it to lift up as you bring you outstretch legs out, you’re not allowing your trunk to do all the work, and potentially put strain through your back. sound familiar when working abs? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Sometimes you go in for a coffee and you end up with a sweet treat too and that’s OK!
That weekday routine is easily broken on a weekend isn’t it?! Well that’s OK! I’m a firm believer in not depriving yourself. And most diets make you miserable. Strict diets make you even more miserable. So if you’re gonna break your diet or healthy eating regime then do it, just allow for it. Reduce your calorie intake ahead of the treat or after, whichever works best. I also suggest you try sharing the treat with someone else. That way you won’t overdo it too much. And to be honest you’ll probably be satisfied after a few mouthfuls anyway!
This delicious pancake was a treat I shared with my husband last Sunday. It was in a great place in the North East called Little Green. It was my first visit there and I’ll hopefully be back soon to try out more from the menu, stock up on some products from their little shop and perhaps even try out their eco refill station!

As an intern with no money I haven’t been able to justify going to @chokbarcelona to get something because it’s a little expensive so my mum going to visit this weekend was the perfect excuse to try it finally 😏😂 we shared this raspberry and white chocolate Berlina doughnut with chocolate buttercream and oh my gosh it was flipping amazing and I’m obsessed and want another one (but don’t think I can justify buying another for quite a while 😂). Anyway it’s been super hot here today so we’ve been at the beach nearby which was absolutely lovely- now going back out for some more of la Mercè events going on so that should be goood- have a lovely evening everyone!!
Sunday morning oat pancakes 🥞 do you ever think about making pancakes but then realize you don’t have any batter?! Worry no more, because all you need for these guys is oats and other kitchen staples. SO much cheaper than store bought mix, fewer ingredients and way heartier/more filling. .
🌱1.5 cups oats
🌱3 cups nut milk
🌱1 flax egg
🌱1 tsp vanilla extract
🌱a pinch of baking powder
👉🏼blend all ingredients and add milk/oats until you get a consistency that is think but also runny enough to spread into cakes on a pan. I always have to play around with the amounts a little. Then just cook on a sprayed pan about 5 mins each side for thick, delicious oaty pancakes!

Almost 4 years later and I am still in the best shape of my entire life - both mentally and physically. I don't count calories or limit them -- I don't over work my body -- I consume no animals or their by-products -- my body has never been this tight or lean without even trying!
I went from an obsessively calculated 1200-1600 calories max per day, a forced 1-2 hours a day in the gym - full of heavy lifting and heavy cardio to now double the calories, doing a few "workouts" I absolutely LOVE (my yoga practice, hiking, walking my dog, some HIITs & at home workouts), having the energy of a 7 year old and flowing digestion! My life will never be the same - so grateful!

Less worries, more curries 🌶 with a fully veggie/vegan menu, this place is absolute heaven. A plethora of dishes - we had Channa Palak (chickpeas in aubergine), Kathal Lazeez (jackfruit curry), Ringan no Oro (mashed aubergine) plus pilau rice and 2 peshwari naan 😍 would recommend booking ahead on the weekends as we had a 15 minute wait for our reservation, which was compensated for by complimentary vegan wine!
